POSITIVES: I will say the eggplant parmesan I got was probably the best I’ve ever had! The garlic bread was amazing and crave-able!
The employees and owner were awesome, really great personal service.
The portions were very large, enough for two meals for me.
NEGATIVES: The pasta, sauce, and toppings were just fine?
The price did seem high for the casual atmosphere. We had 3 people in our party and we spent over $75.
It was a little odd there was no music playing when we were there.
The kids meal was also a good size. Desserts were delicious. Our favorite was the Nutella Pie. Atmosphere was great and it was decorated so cute. At the front they have some really fun shaped pasta. The owner came out frequently and was super kind. He was also hustling and service was super quick and easy.
It got super busy around 6pm. Line would have been out the door if it was warmer but it was wrapped all the way back in the hall.
I will say I wasn’t expecting a pasta bar style place, I thought it’d be more of a sit down menu type thing based off the website, but I’m easy going and we were hungry so we jumped right in.
I got the pink Italian but without potatoes, corn, and mushrooms while adding extra tomatoes. I wanted to add caramelized onions but they were completely out. My husband got the Alfredo, but also had to miss out on the onions.
We wanted to order some piadinas but they were out of all the flavors aside from just cheese.
My bowl was actually incredible. I didnt really expect such good flavors to come from a pasta bar, but it was really good! The garlic bread was also amazing! The only downsides for me were that they skimped on the artichoke heart hardcore- I only got 3 little pieces. And the artichoke and tomatoes were super cold compared to the otherwise very hot pasta which sort of threw me off.
My husband also loved the garlic bread, though his Alfredo was fairly basic. Nothing about his bowl really jumped out to either of us flavor wise, it was just a decent, standard Alfredo.
Fun fact, we were told they make all their pasta in house and fresh which is definitely a bonus!
The bowls are massive! We both took our leftovers to work the next day, which was nice because I didnt think the prices fit a pasta bar at first but the portions made the pricing more or less worth it. If you dont want leftovers or are on a tight budget, two people could easily share 1 bowl!
We got there at 8pm on a Saturday and they close at 10. If you want the best possible options, I recommend not going toward the end of the evening as they were out of a ton of ingredients as well as all of their piadinas by the time we got there despite them still being open for another 2 hours.
Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. The employee who was helping us was very patient and kind and did what he could to help us find substitutions for the ingredients they were out of. The portions were price worthy. And the food was good.
We will be coming back again in the future, and hopefully we will get to try more of what this place has to offer!
This pasta bar is such a great find. The fresh pasta and delicious sauces make it easy to create your own Italian dish exactly the way you like it. I loved being able to point to the ingredients and watch them dish it up right in front of me. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the servings were generous.
There’s plenty of seating, the staff is friendly, and the whole experience feels welcoming. I’ll definitely return and try a new twist on my own custom pasta creation next time!
Not only was the service good, quick, and the prices very affordable for pasta and even for overall going out to eat prices. The quality/taste of the food was pretty great! I did a “Build-your-own Pasta” which basically ended up being a creamy pesto chicken pasta. Not authentic Italian, but it was really good!!
The food is amazing and the portions are great! I was reading other peoples reviews and they were saying it was on the more expensive side. You literally can’t find Italian food that has this kind of value anywhere. It’s quick, it’s tasty and the owner is fantastic with an awesome motto.
I hope the next guest he served wasn’t put off by that, cause I sure was. This manager needs to stop yelling at people, speak to them with respect and get off the line if he is going to micro manage everyone. The cashier recommended the panna cota for dessert, so we ordered that along with a Nutella pie.
The food was ok. My pasta and meatballs were hot, but the cauliflower and broccoli were cold, so it cooled off my pasta. The cauliflower had chili flakes, which distracted from the dish. The meatballs and sauce were good, the balsamic drizzle was great as well as the ricotta.
My husband steak amore was ok. Nothing special.
Both items came with bread. It was way too chewy.
The panna cota was almost flavorless, the Nutella pie was good.
The restaurant is quite beautifully decorated, but the manager needs to stop yelling at people. If I order a hot dish, all the items in my bowl should be hot.
