We came in chasing stars—well, 4.5 of them at least—and the promise of a Prime Rib Special. What we got was a performance best described as “Waiting for Godot,” but with more water glasses and fewer refills.

From the jump, our waitress (Ava) was MIA. When she finally appeared, she brought water (hooray!) but forgot the lemon. We asked again. And again. Apparently, citrus is harder to find than the Lost Ark.

The Prime Rib arrived… and so did confusion. My plate was cold enough to register as an Antarctic outpost, while the Open Face Prime Rib Sandwich next to it was basking in Florida sunshine. Medium, we had asked. Medium, it was not. The hostess, bless her, tried: “That’s definitely not Medium.” Correct! It was more like cryogenic.

We declined a do-over because, frankly, we’d grown attached to our chairs after the long wait. Instead, the hostess slid us a $5 coupon as if to say, “Please, gamble again!” Spoiler: we’re not rolling those dice.

When our waitress reappeared—after socializing like a campaign manager at another table—she was thrilled to announce she knocked $8 off our $65 bill. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat drier than Death Valley.

And then came the kicker: a “Kitchen Sur-Charge.” So let me get this straight—I paid extra for the privilege of cold Prime Rib? If irony were edible, I’d have left stuffed.

Final Thought:
If you enjoy scavenger hunts (for lemons, servers, and hot food), this is your place. If not, save yourself the “sur-charge” and head somewhere your steak comes warmer than your coupon discount

Hard to give this place more than one star. Ordered a breakfast burrito and eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is not tasty and hair in the plate. The burrito was stone cold. We waited for 45 min to get the food on a not busy day. Outside seating had a horrible fly problem due to trash and not clean tables. But food is cold and not good.

Absolutely delicious food & drinks!

Came in with my family as a group of 6 and the food came out fairly quick and every single one of us didn’t just enjoy our meal, we were absolutely shocked by how DELICIOUS everything was.

Everything was amazing, definitely worth the price!

I had only ordered pickup before and this was my first time eating at the restaurant. I like this restaurant because of their attention to gluten-free food, since I am celiac. I ordered off the brunch menu, the French toast with berries, adding eggs and bacon. It was very good and a big portion. A little pricey though. It was somewhat confusing on where to order and the seating situation, you have to order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to pick it up, open seating. The patio was very lovely with all of the garden area. Overall, a good experience for brunch.

Spoons does a lot, and your experience will look different depending on what time of day you’re there.

My date and I went for an evening out and were pleasantly surprised by the juxtaposition of a Michelin class menu in a quaint and homey diner-esque restaurant. I myself was even more floored by not only the service (thank you, Ashley) but by the food as well. From appetizer, entree, and dessert, my palate was in marvel and awe. Every bite just as fantastic as the last. I had to let our server know to please commend the chefs for such exemplary presentation and delivery. Everything was cooked to desired PERFECTION if that had ever been achievable to begin with. Without droning on, I can not recommend having dinner here enough.

For 2 people, 3 courses shared with a bottle of wine and 20%+ gratuity, we spent $150. BEYOND worth it.

The only reason this isn’t a full 5-stars is just the misleading atmosphere. You definitely get contemporary cafe/diner vibes for a place that’s a little more conservative.

Side note and entirely not on the restaurant, but the clientele aren’t nearly as hospitable and accommodating as the staff. While my date and I aren’t the type of people to be easily offended, it was comical the amount of side-eyes and, at times, blatant stares we received by other guests. Sure, we looked a little macabre compared to the rest of the crowd, but we had plans after dinner too. No harm no foul, just a little funny.

2025: They no longer offer asparagus risotto. They also now offer reservations online. Picture: Grilled Portabello Mushroom with Wild Rice.

2022: Sami and the team were wonderful! Great food. Limited indoor seating. Spoons can get pretty busy sometimes around dinner time so I highly recommend calling ahead for a reservation (they DO NOT accept reservations for dinner if you call before 4 pm).

We decided to order our Thanksgiving meal from Spoons and we were not disappointed. On the day, we picked up it was so well organized and prompt. The manager had it so well worked out, we were there so quick the car was still warm!! Excellent food both the Chef and the Manager should be recognized for all the efforts that they put into it. Thank you so very much and will be ready for the Christmas Feast!!!

– Wide variety of super delicious, fresh, and hot food
– Different breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert menus
– Kid’s menu
– Coffee
– Nice dine in area
– Amazing outdoor dining area with lots of seating (covered and uncovered, with heat lamps), a little walking trail, and a small pond
– Fast and easy service

You order here at the counter whenever you are ready and have a call back button to pick up your food. The menu has a huge variety of food so you can even take those picky eaters here. Burgers, fish, soups, sandwiches, salads, pastas, sides, desserts, and a kid’s menu. They also have coffee, juices, sodas, smoothies and milkshakes. Everything here tastes amazing and is very reasonably priced. I will be coming here a lot to not only enjoy the huge menu and great food, but also the giant outdoor eating area. The property is huge and beautiful and I love walking around after my meal. I even took my dog here while I ate outside and it was no problem at all

I placed my first order with Spoons for dinner last night on DoorDash. I ordered the pear, bibb lettuce, pecan and goat cheese salad and the fried asparagus and artichokes. Both dishes were really delicious, generous portions and really nicely put together. I called to ask if I could get bread with the salad and the friendly lady who answered, Rhiannon put in two types warmed garlic and walnut. Both were delicious with the goat cheese. The bread pudding was fantastic. I love the fact that some of the proceeds go to the hospice which is very important. I highly recommend their food.

It was a clean and mellow atmosphere. You go to the counter to order, and they give you a buzzer thing to indicate when your food is ready. It is first come, first serve seating. When you’re done eating, you buss your own table.
The majority of the ingredients are from local farms. We (family & I) had the burger with sweet potato fries, a grand valley burger with shoe string fries, and a beef quiche with fruit. All 3 meals were delicious. One surprising discovery was the stubborn black cherry soda with tarragon (yum).

Overall, I had a great time and yummy food
