A MUST-EAT!! My sister and I traveled to Alaska for a vacation and wanted to try a bunch of local spots. This one takes the cake! The salmon was PHENOMENAL. Fresh-caught and flavorful. The service was wonderful as well. The atmosphere is very clean, relaxed, and welcoming. Please do read the positive reviews on this eatery and ignore the negative ones because I cannot praise it enough! I decided to get the ribeye main course but sub salmon instead of steak so that I could enjoy the potatoes and shaved Brussels sprout salad and it was so worth it! My sister got the sock-eye salmon main course with the risotto and snap peas and loved it. Highly recommend!

If you’re in Girdwood, this place is a must to eat at! The food was probably the best we had during our visit to Alaska (would highly recommend the salmon and the yellow curry, both delicious, as well as any of the desserts they have—we got all three because we couldn’t decide). There are ample options for vegetarians and those who have gluten allergies. The live music was also fantastic, and everyone—from the musicians, to the staff, to the locals coming in for drinks and dessert—was so kind and welcoming. I would travel back from the East Coast just for this place and hope to be back eventually!

I have no idea why this place is rated a 3. It was brought to our attention that a patron who was refused service due to alcohol intoxication was disgruntled and started to spam them with 1 star review (you can see it was around the same time 7 months ago.) Also, the staff at Hightower Pub were told to bash this establishment and spread rumors about the staff in attempts to sabotage their business. It’s really sad. I wouldn’t trust any of those reviews from 7 months ago that only have one review on their profile.

We had company from the lower 48. So, we walk in with 18 people! After the intial shock of an impromptu large group, we were seated at 5 tables in the same room! There was wine, good food and much laughter! A big shout out for your gracious hosting of our family!

Absolutely love this place! Wanted something chill and friendly and that’s exactly what we found! Awesome service, friendly and fast. Flavor packed food and classics as well! Had the pastrami bagel and was so amazed at the flavor punch it packs and my husband likes his classic eggs benedict and he said it was up there with the best with a different taste twist with some lemon that he really enjoyed! Highly recommend this bistro!

Please look at the Trip Advisor reviews, where this place gets a perfect 5 stars, which it deserves. We had a phenomenal meal, excellent service, and wonderful atmosphere. Lots of locals come here and love it. We asked, and the rumor is true that one disgruntled drunkard is having Google bots leave one star reviews to trash the restaurant’s reputation. Come see for yourself why so many people leave five star reviews.

Spoonline was so good! My favorite food from my Alaska trip. They were super nice and the food was excellent. It is definitely underrated on here seemingly from one issue that led to a review bomb. Definitely go if you are in Girdwood.

My husband and I went to Spoonline last week for dinner for our anniversary and OH MY…best dinner we have had in Alaska this year (we have been here for 2 months). The staff was very friendly, the food super delicious and they were also able to accommodate my vegan diet. Highly recommend!

Lovely place with creative and tasty food. Wonderful staff who clearly take pride in what they do. Came here two back to back nights. Had the polenta and daal soup as apps (both great), and for mains had salmon with risotto and pesto spaghetti (plus shrimp)—both really good. Ate out on the cute deck, which was cozy albeit occasionally buggy. Locals come here, and I understand why!
