I am not a spooner native, as I have family that live here. They recommended this bakery but it was awful, I got donuts around 10 am and they were stale and unfresh, the bread I bought had went moldy the next day and tasted old. i tried their scones and it was okay, but I did some research and found out their scones aren’t even made in house (shocker!). If they lie about their scones being made in house, imagine what else they lie about. i don’t even want to imagine the hygiene that takes place behind doors, I saw a few cockroaches along the edges of the building. The only redeeming quality was that the staff was nice and welcoming and was patient while i looked over the menu. The prices are cheap and you can tell why. I told my family and they agreed to take their business to another bakery in spooner. Save your money and don’t bother.

Baked items were pretty good. Limited selection on a Wednesday afternoon. Team members were friendly but not super knowledgeable, (but quite possibly newer staff). Good prices. Historic building, which is cool, but dimly lit. Take out only.

The Spooner Bake Shoppe has been around forever but has changed hands. Very friendly service. Cookies taste the same as they always did, but they’re not my favorite as most varieties tend to be crisp, and I like chewy cookies. The German Six Grain bread was very good. I tried the Fried Cinnamon Roll based on a recommendation, and it lived up to the hype.
