We were looking for someplace to get doner or sort of “German-style” middle eastern food, and this hit the spot. One of us was a vegetarian, and one of us was a meatatarian, and we could both find things we wanted to eat here :-). Also the host/waiter was very nice.
You order at the counter and then sit down, so it was very comfortable and it wasn’t loud inside when we were there, so it was good for conversation on a Friday night. It seemed like other people were there for the same thing. Also quite a few people were ordering takeout.
Also the waiter let us split the side of fries between the regular fries and the sweet potato fries so that was great that we didn’t have to choose or overeat .

We were in Longmont for a day and chose this place for a late lunch. The folks working here are all really friendly and chill, the food is great, and the place itself is relaxed with interesting decor. I got the Street Cart Döner Wrap with fries and hubby got a gyro with the crispy pita strips (I think that’s what they’re called). The gyro is definitely different than what were used to at Greek-style restaurants, but he really enjoyed it even though he’s quite picky. He LOVED the pita strips. They were perfectly soft with crispy edges (without being greasy!) and the seasoning was so good!
My wrap was enormous! I could only finish a half of it and had to take the other half home with me. It was delicious and there was a good balance of veggies and meat. And the fries were nice and crispy and the garlic aioli was yummy too.
Bathrooms were clean and service was prompt. You order at the counter and can then either take it home or sit at one of the tables. We’ll definitely be back!

The gyro and fries were delicious, and you can’t beat $5 pints all day on Friday. Grace was so sweet and kind—she made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be back!

We were starving after spending the day getting new phones and service. The rep recommended this place for us to finish up and grab dinner.
The counter staff woman was great and helpful. I ordered the Berliner felafel wrap. I don’t know what wrap my husband had, but we both enjoyed them. Fresh and huge! Will be back!
I’m not usually a big fan of counter service places, but they deliver the food to the table, which is a plus.
Unique take on Mediterranean food.

Decent Mediterranean food. Pita Chips were an A, Gyro was a B, Falafel were a C. Uninspiring wine selections but great selection of local beer (thank you). I little to fast foody feeling for my taste but being by the movie theatre they probably tailor to people looking for a quick bit.

I have never complained about this place until now. I actually do really enjoy the food… however, you will never recieve what you really order nor will you be notified that your order has been delivered. Several complaints have been expressed to our local franchise not only by us, and nothing has changed. Items missing almost every order so far, never once notified that our order was delivered, local customer service literally says “oh that’s unacceptable, we’ll talk to the driver” however nothing ever changes. So many orders, so much money spent on items not recieved and tips not deserved, so much money given to people that clearly don’t give a shit about their business. Thanks for another disappointing order… never again.

Hard to find a better pita. Fluffy as a cloud. Sweet potato fries were the best I’ve ever had. Sadly, the gyros meat was dry, and they used some sauce other than the traditional tzatziki sauce that really killed it for me. The sauce they used was sparse, tomato red, and not good. I guess I’ll never find a Gyros as good as Sinya Mediterranean on North Damen in Chicago. My father’s Donar bowl was good, but the falafals in it were bad. Mushy inside, overcooked outside. They need to sample some really good Falafels at Falafel Drive-In, San Jose CA. Been going there for 60 years. Service was friendly but the music was much too loud for a place with all hard surfaces and a high ceiling. $42 with tip for 2 people – no alcohol.

The food at Spitz is always fresh and tasty! I love the Mediterranean Doner, and the French fries are amazing. The service is prompt and friendly. I usually get takeout, but the atmosphere is laid back. Great beer selection, too!

Spitz is a fresh take on Mediterranean cuisine. I had a good old fashioned gyro today with French fries in the wrap. The lady behind the counter asked if I wanted sweet potato fries instead. Chefs kiss!
