Spitz offers so much more than delicious Mediterranean inspired food. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a kaleidoscope of color. They have an really large mural of Prince on the entry wall which will surely put a smile on your face. They have a cart of table games to play if you’re planning on spending some extra time there. Depending on the day, they offer trivia nights.
The food is delicious. I’ve been coming here for a while and the consistency is key. Always hot and fresh and is beautifully plated.
They have a large drink menu which includes fresh homemade sangria which is constantly changing. They use fresh fruit and have drink specials throughout the week. Their other craft cocktails are just as good and they have a good local beer selection.
Overall, you can’t go wrong here. It’s located on a very busy corner which is always fun to people watch if you get a table next to the window. Two thumbs up!

Had a great first experience at Spitz! I ordered the Zesty Feta wrap with chicken and shared the street car fries with a friend. Everything was delicious.

First of all ambience was great.
Tried the street cart fries which was super delicious. Chicken gyro was good, could have been better.
Falafel Vegan bowl was decent.
Strawberry nojito (non alcoholic) was not good. I was not able to taste any strawberry in it except mint.
Little expensive but good quality and quantity.

My wife and I LOVE Spitz. We went here on our first date and can’t stop coming back. We love the food, drinks, and atmosphere. The large windows let in so much natural light you just want to pull up a stool and stay awhile. We could eat the sweet potato waffle fries with their garlic aioli every single day.

The Döner Berliner Wrap is closer to durum döner and satisfies the craving for an actual Döner Kebab.
Unfortunately, they don’t seem to have a traditional style Berlin Döner Kebab, which could be approximated by adding the Berliner Döner filling in pita, but with nowhere else I’ve found serving similar, I won’t complain. Excellent delicious food, great quality. (It would be nice if the San Pellegrino’s could be an option for the drink in the combo, perhaps with a slight upcharge even, but not including them is also an understandable business decision)

Walked in a while back and was blown away by the hospitality! Even though I arrived just 15 minutes before closing, the staff welcomed me with kindness and made me feel at home. The drinks were awesome, and the food was absolutely amazing, everything was fresh and flavorful. This place has definitely become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving Mediterranean food, they just dont miss!

I happen to go to this place when I was in Dallas and I really loved it so when I found out there was one here in Minneapolis I decided to check it out. It was the same place and just as freaking tasty. I remembered from the Dallas menu that there was this taquito that I had had that was super good. Apparently it’s only served as part of their happy hour menu and I highly recommend you try it. Aside from it being super delicious, It’s also very filling and if you get two of them then it’s a meal on its own. I love their doner salad because it comes with everything and it’s both filling and refreshing. This place also has a great atmosphere with an awesome alcohol selection. Spitz is a must stop.

Looking for a good doner? This place is a solid choice. It’s reliable, convenient, and perfect when you need a quick meal. I enjoyed my experience overall—the flavors were decent, and the portions were satisfying. However, I did find the doner meat to be a bit off in taste and drier than what I’ve experienced at other places. While it wasn’t as moist and flavorful as I would have liked, it still made for a decent meal.
If you’re in a pinch and craving a doner, this place can certainly hit the spot. Just don’t expect it to be the absolute best you’ve ever had. Nonetheless, it’s worth trying, especially if you’re in the area and looking for a quick bite.
