We were looking for a lite meal and stopped here. We each had the chowder and my husband had the roasted corn with parmesan and bacon in a cup. The chowder was delicious and the roasted corn was amazing (I had to try some of my husband’s). The staff was very very nice and we enjoyed talking with her. By the time we left, the line was our the door. We made a great choice for a place to eat. I think we may need to stop in again while we are still here.

My family and I tried all of their corn options and they were delicious!! The corn was steaming hot right out of the roaster!! My favorites were the Thai Curry and Ranch Parm toppings, but honestly all of their toppings were great!! Service was amazing!! The owners, Jonathan and Lizzy, were very friendly and excited for summer!!

When you’re cold on the spit… and need something warm and ready NOW, this is the spot. Pretty rockin’! The family is really nice, food is good. Our kids were super happy with the options. We tried the Elote corn, chowder, and more. As locals, we’ve found ourselves there each night for dinner with the kids 😀

1. Elote—classic flavor with generous amount of cheese and extra seasoning on the counter if you want to add more
2. Hot Cheetoh—surprisingly good
3. Thai Curry—my favorite, the curry is good enough for a Thai restaurant easily
4. Ranch Parm—very flavorful
5. Mac an Spud—very filling (would work as a standalone meal) with excellent Mac and cheese
6. Kachemak chowder—ours had cod and clam in it. Very tasty, a lot like a classic clam chowder. Broth is on the lighter side instead of super thick and floury.
Highly recommend this place. We liked everything and will be back.
