Spiros & Vasilis is an elegant and romantic dining experience from start to finish. The bread and broccoli salad were delicious, and the rooster in red wine sauce was absolutely outstanding, rich and full of flavor. Their wine selection and house-made drinks paired perfectly with the meal. The ambiance is warm and sophisticated, and the service was superb. A wonderful spot for an unforgettable evening in Athens!

I have long wanted to visit this restaurant as it is a staple in the gastro scene of Athens. What we tasted was classic French cuisine executed properly. Although nothing really stood out above the others for me, it is a place to get a proper meal and I will definitely visit again. However, special attention needs to be given to the training of the staff. Service is uneven as half of the service staff are very experienced, whereas the other half needs some more training. This does not however, prevents you from having a very pleasant experience.

An incredible all around experience at this very cozy and elegant restaurant near the Athens concert hall!

The service was excellent, the waiters were all very kind and very attentive without being constantly above our head which is often something that can be a little bit off putting. Here they respected our space and gave us everything we needed within seconds, including a really nice variety of liquors at the end of our dinner! One little detail I would like to note however, is that when ordering our food, and someone wants the “dish of the day” I would very kindly want to remind the waiters to inform the customer if there are multiple dishes and each dish’s price individually!

The food was great. The highlight for me from the main dishes were the beef fillet with the peppercorn sauce and the Roquefort sauce, as well as the scallops. The beef was incredibly tender (I genuinely recommend medium rare and not more than that). They brought a massive plate of fries and an incredible amount of bearnaise sauce. The scallops were very intricate in flavour , sort of a small portion for a main dish but not something I personally mind because at the end we were all very full ! You could very much get this dish as a starter!

The appetizers were really good too, the mushrooms were very tasteful and the garlic was shining through positively. The truffle croquettes were also very tasty, but I would have liked if there was a bit more depth of flavour in them.

The desserts were incredible! Their chocolate soufflé is a must have, and the crème brulé is a classic!

I definitely recommend all food lovers to pay this restaurant a visit for a very welcoming, warm experience that will definitely leave you full and happy!

Iconic but in decay! Used to be The place to be. Steak tartare and fries were bad and we’re famous back in the 80s. Pity.

This is a classy, old fashioned French restaurant that serves really good fillet minion. The service is very friendly and professional.
In summer they have outdoor seating too next to local playground…which can get a bit noisy.
This a a really nice place for a special occasion.

Excellent! We went via dineathens for the first time and everything was perfect. The entrecôte and the salmon ideally prepared, the service great, the atmosphere great. I stress that they offered us without extra charge a selection of 4 dessert drinks, which were not in the menu. The homemade limoncello was maybe the best I have ever tasted. A highly recommended restaurant, and I now want to go again to test the normal menu
