One of Portland’s best sports bars.
Good atmosphere for big games and walking distance to the Moda center.
Good bar food too and very friendly staff and patrons!

Great vibe, awesome service
Had an amazing time at Spirit of 77 with my coworkers before heading to the Portland Trailblazers basketball game. The vibe was perfect — lively, welcoming, and exactly what you want from a great sports bar.
Huge shoutout to the bartenders Alexus and Tyler. They were fantastic — super friendly, quick to help us open a tab, and made buying a round for my group smooth and easy. Their energy and professionalism really set the tone for a great night.
Awesome spot with great people. We’ll definitely be back.

We went prior to a show at the Moda center. The drinks were great and strong. Our service was quick and the bartenders were great. The food was the only ok, my fish taco batter was not cooked through so it was slimy inside I didn’t like that texture. The wedge potatoes that came withy wife’s BBQ burger were to big. Each wedge was a quarter of the potato great portions but the centers were not fully cooked and they needed more seasoning.

Went down to Portland for the Trailblazers vs Clippers game. Stopped here before. No staff greeted or explained that it was open seating. We ended up sitting at the front bar which was not being operated, all of that was fine. Figured out you have to go to the back bar to order. We ordered drinks (no energy drink options for a vodka redbull or tequila redbull). The bar staff was extremely friendly and very helpful when asked questions. We ordered fish tacos and nachos. In the process of waiting for food at our seats we noticed some ants crawling on the counter top. We probably smashed like 15 of them. We notified someone and they said “Oh well we don’t really use this bar that much.” Food was alright nothing special probably would order food from here again. Great atmosphere

Quick service, great beer, tasty pretzels, and the worst jojo’s I’ve ever had. Jojo’s were big but tasted nothing like an authentic delicious seasoned and battered PNW jojo. Take them off the menu or make a real Jojo.

Came by to watch NHL playoffs and have a few snacks.
Great spot to watch sports and have a bite. Plenty of seating and screens to watch whatever is on.
Food was good and arrived quick.

We came here to watch the half time show. Considering this, we were able to get drinks pretty quickly. The place was packed, but had a good atmosphere

The staff is very nice at this bar/restaurant but the food is just average. The burger was serviceable, but they didn’t have typical toppings like mayo and mustard. The jojos were a bit underdone, while the onion rings were overdone. Free refills on the fountain sodas were a nice touch. Proximity to the Convention Center means it is a little pricey for what it is, but during the convention we attended at mid-day, it was a ghost town inside. They do have a free-play set of make-a-shot basketball games and lots of big screen tvs showing the games.

Very large open room sports bar with a great selection of cocktails and local taps.
After two visits the service has been exceptional, fast and friendly. For bar food the menu items are very good.
Free pop-a-shot basketball!
Cleanest sports bar I have ever visited.
