Love it. Looking for cheap not over priced delicious food, it’s here. Come here all the time when I’m working in California. Very nice people inside. Potato soup is delicious as well.

We came in on a Saturday around 8:45 pm after Creep IE con. There were a few tables of people. The staff were all very nice and checked on us multiple times. We both had a 1/2 sandwich that came with a bowl of soup (chicken and rice, vegetable beef, both yummy) and side salad, both were pretty big. We were very hungry so didn’t get pics. The main reason for the visit, we got hot fudge sundaes in schooners, oh the memories. Perfect meal and under $45. for 2 w dessert, you can’t beat that. The restaurant was clean, the interior was nostalgic for us as we used to eat at the Spires in Costa Mesa growing up. Some of the booths had tape, assuming from wear and tear. The restrooms were clean. Will definitely come back next year when I’m at the convention.

A cozy breakfast spot with amazing menu options! The service is great and polite. I tried the House Omelette, which comes with avocado and veggies, and it was delicious. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. We also had the strawberry French toast with chocolate sauce and fresh strawberries, which was really good. A solid breakfast spot for families.

The bread was incredible and I was sold from the very first bite. The bacon tasted freshly made and the eggs were cooked just right. The hashbrowns were crisp with a rich buttery flavor that made the whole plate unforgettable. I cannot believe I kept passing this place without stopping. It has officially become my favorite spot for breakfast.

A restaurant with a history of great food, amazing service and a nostalgic atmosphere that feels like you’re stepping back to a better time. I’ve been going to Spires since I was a kid, 30 years ago, and this is one place that has stood the test of time and still stands strong. Unfortunately there aren’t many still standing but all the ones I’ve been to have always had great tasting food, had staff that treats you like family and provides amazing service to all. No matter where I go, this restaurant will always have a special place in my heart and remain one of my favorite eateries.

Ordered the special of the day. It was pork chop dinner. Very affordable, full 4 course meal for $18 sign me up.
Everything was pretty great, soup was good, salad was fresh, and the service was impeccable.
The pork chop was not the best, though. It was very okay, I’ve had much better pork chop in much worse places so thats the main reason I only give 4 stars.
I’ll try them out again if I’m in the area and see if their other food are good too, I expect most of them should be.

Pretty nice place to eat nothing extraordinary. The prices were reasonable portions were good and the service by Daniella was excellent. My wife’s food was a bit cold mine was pretty decent as far as temperature. The French toast was pretty tasty and overall the food was pretty decent. Nothing extraordinary to ride home about but you can check out the photos to see for yourself.
