I Walked into Spinners last minute on New Year’s Eve with no reservation while driving through to our hotel it was the closest place we could find that served steaks and we were starving. That’s understandable. What followed is not especially for what they charge.The hostess was clearly not in a professional state. Heavy slurring and completely checked out. On a major holiday at a higher-priced restaurant, that’s unacceptable.We were sat at an absurdly small table barely usable. Plates hardly fit and it immediately felt like we were an afterthought.Service confirmed that feeling. Our waiter was far more interested in socializing with regulars standing around chatting and laughing at another table while I sat with an empty Sprite and no attention at all. If I’m paying premium prices, I expect basic service ♀️not to be ignored.The food was fine but not worth the price tag. I had a Caesar salad that was laughably small, shrimp cocktail & steak. The steak was cooked well but unnecessarily smothered in sauce. The carrots had a good sweet glaze but weren’t cooked long enough. Nothing bad just not impressive.The only thing that actually stood out was the focaccia bread ⭐️For the cost the service should be far better. This place feels more like a locals only hangout than a restaurant that cares about every guest. Not somewhere I’d go out of my way to return.

Went with no reservation for a bite after a full day of hiking. We had Dylan as our server, easily one of the most memorable experiences. He was super attentive and really accommodating as our party of two is vegan. The only option is a veggie burger it was good, and Dylan made sure all ingredients were vegan. Overall a great place with seaside nostalgia and fabulous service.

We had a 5 star experience in every respect. This family owned and operated establishment was the highlight of our trip to Gold Beach. We ordered plank salmon which was cooked perfectly and so amazingly fresh and delicious! Starter salads were designed with care featuring Fuji apples and blue cheese with a house made vinaigrette. Their focaccia is to die for along with everything we tasted and enjoyed. Just reopened from a seasonal holiday break we encourage fine dining folk to visit and savor this incredible place to watch a sunset and eat an amazing meal. Thank you Spinners!

We were very happy with this restaurant and the customer service. We’ve eaten at several restaurants on our trip along the Oregon coast and this restaurant has been one of our favorites so far.

Had the chowder, which was great, and the cold seafood combo with added crab, which was ok…do not order the crab was tasteless. They were very good and took it off the bill when I pointed it out. Gary, the bartender server was Awesome!!!!!

We came in at 7 on Valentine’s Day with no reservations. It was still busy and they managed to seat us within 20 minutes. The food was incredible- best seasoned clam chowder I’ve ever had. Very grateful they didn’t turn us away without reservation and gave us a great evening all around

As soon as we walked in the hostess greeted me with a smile. She confirmed our reservation and promptly took us to our table. The short time later, the waiter asked for our drink order. Two of us requested Mojito’s. They came in a very reasonable amount of time and were made perfect for my taste.
I passed on $100 lobster tail and opted in for the whiskey steak. Little I know it was a 1 1/2”. My other guest ordered the deep fried oysters which she thoroughly enjoyed. As a third person in our party ordered a hamburger that he he liked and found a pretty filling.
All and all I would say the service, and the food were both very very good. As I was visiting from out of town, and the other two persons in my party live there we ended up talking for a long time. As a matter fact, for about an hour after they closed. They never once said that. It was time for us to go, and I appreciated that iy gave us the opportunity to catch up. I’ll definitely revisit spinners the next time I’m in Gold Beach.

No MSG No Garlic Foodie
This is a popular place in Gold Beach. We went there early and it quickly filled up. I’ve had too much fish and chips in the past few days and really wanted a simple comfort food, so we both went for burgers and salads. My meat patty was over done even though I asked for medium. The bun was on the dry side. So the burger wasn’t succulent to bite into. I didn’t finish mine. Credit card security: they do not have wireless credit card machines – the server had to take my credit card.
