Spindle’s is Wilmington North Carolina’s first restaurant mash up of a sports bar meets family restaurant. Providing something for everyone – including food and cocktail options that are a little classy and a little trashy. Immediate service and open, plentiful, comfortable seating. Servers are happy to assist you. There are multiple delicious sandwiches–I highly recommend the Pub Club. We love the Trash Can Nachos. It’s messy but so good, has mildly seasoned pulled pork, guacamole, sautéed sliced jalapenos and queso. The Hibachi Bowl (chicken with noodles is great) was perfectly seasoned, good with a little of the white sauce, but so flavorful it was fine without. The Banana Pudding Cheesecake is amazing, often sold out. Their Peach Mimosa is great. Family friendly, clean, and has pleasant atmosphere. Outdoor seating available.

My husband and I have been to Spindle’s 3 times now, and all have been positive experiences. They have a good handle on tasty upscale bar food to complement the bar food classics. Their wings are really good, and the December 2022 $0.25 wing promotion was amazing in a time where everything is so incredibly expensive. Food came out of the kitchen quickly and was piping hot when we received it. Kat was our server multiple times, and we were grateful for her kindness and attention to detail. There are happy hour specials, so be prepared for a wait (but no worries because it’s worth it)!

Overall an amazing experience. We were peer pressured by our wives to do the 1 carolina reaper wing challenge. It was a fun experience. I’d recommend it to anyone you don’t like. The staff were all really nice and fun to talk to. If you want great food and awesome service I’d recommend coming here. 10 out of 10 would set my mouth on fire again.

The Trash Can nachos are the best nachos I’ve ever had and i highly recommend them. They will easily feed several people. The rum flight is a good value and fun way to try different drinks. The salmon and captain crunch tenders entrees are good but not exciting. The service was outstanding.

A favorite spot when I’m nearby. The BBQ bacon pub chips are phenomenal! Other food items equally delicious. The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful! Reasonable beer and drink choices. Never too loud. Highly recommended!

Been here twice. We had the club- so full of ham and turkey I couldn’t even get my mouth around it; the trash can nachos- huge portion (3 people ate it!) lots of tasty pulled pork and goodies, but a tad sweet for my taste; Tuna Poke bowl- got it both visits it was so good, lots of fresh tasty tuna & avocado, crispy wontons were just a tad greasy 2nd time but still good; Wagyu meatloaf- got it twice also, huge slab of tender meatloaf on tasty mashed taters with lots of cripsy onion tangles on top; salmon was very good; teriyaki wings were plump and flavorful. Portions are generous, food is delicious, and presentation is attractive. And the drinks… rum flight (4 different rum concoctions), coconut margaritas, sparkling galaxy cosmo, refreshing peaches and cream mule, finished off with a vodka hazelnut shot that rocked my tastebuds. The presentation is very cool. It was very busy on 2nd visit so we ate at the bar and enjoyed watching the creative process. Already have my food and drink picked for our next visit!

Ordered the corned beef and cheese. Looked horrible and tasted worse. Bun was soggy, cheese was cold in middle, amount of onions was about 6 tiny scattered squares, meat was bland and cold, onion rings were burnt and hard. Took one bite and server threw in trash for me and did not offer any solutions or compensation. Left with bad taste in my mouth and went to place nearby to eat. Bad customer service and server was complaining to coworkers whole time. Save the trip.

OMG this place is phenomenal!! We heard there was a connection to another 2 restaurants that we love but are further away and we live on Carolina beach so this was definitely way closer for us and it did NOT disappoint. The pineapple jalapeño & coconut margaritas were just a start to delicious!! My husband got the seafood Mac & cheese hoping it was just as good as one of the other restaurants as well as our daughter got the bbq pork Mac & cheese and they both couldn’t stop eating it was so good ! I got the baja tacos and was very happy I did as well. There’s a huge staff presence which tells me they care about their employees as well. We sat in the bar area and service was a little slow but food came out super quick after ordering. We will definitely be going back a lot as there are so many good things to try on their menu. We don’t otb often but this is a must !!

My friend saw a photo of a Reuben sandwich on facebook the other day, tagged me and we decided to try the place. The sandwich looked really good, which was piled high with meat.
My friend and I went today and told the waitress we wanted to split the sandwich since it looked so big in the photo we saw.
Not so. While it was tasty (the French fries were great), it didn’t stand up to the photo. The amount of meat was on the skimpy side. Back to the drawing board to find a good Reuben.
We had very good service by our waitress.
