I’ve heard that this place is pretty dead most days and I just don’t understand why. We stopped in and the bar itself is VERY clean and nice inside! Prices were fair and the staff was friendly. Out of all of the bars that we’ve went to in Mason City it was definitely a favorite for me.
We had another friend from out of town join us and he’d stated that it was hard for him to tell that it was the bar we’d directed him to. Would make for a nice place to do a bike night in the summer! We will be back for sure

Went in with my husband and friend. Man, claiming to be the owner, came up to us while we were playing pool and was being insulting regarding our “young age”. He kept saying that he thought we were “up to no good” because we are “just kids”. He then got up in my husbands face and proceeded to take pictures of my husband and our friend with his phone. We could hear him and the bartender talking about us under their breath. It made us uncomfortable so we left to go to the Willow Lounge. We absolutely will not be coming back, the willow has much better nicer service.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is remodeled and very clean. Home cozy northwoods style atmosphere with friendly locals.

Bartender Rachel allowed a friend of hers to increase the music to an uncomfortable volume because Rachel doesn’t get along with an individual in our group. Once our friend paid her tab and left, the music was turned back down. Was very unpleasant – none of us could even talk to each other. Extremely unprofessional and beyond immature. Our group had to cut our night short. Won’t be back.

They have giant Jenga but they also have customers who go around intimidating people and the bartenders do nothing about it. I had to step in when someone was intimidating a group of girls.

Not a grill or kitchen despite their name. No food options other than slim jims and peanuts for sale. I will change this review when they stop falsley advertising food. Until then I assume they are intentionally misleading customers for money.
