grazie per una struttura meravigliosa
Food:
Let’s start with the standout: the tiramisu. Absolutely nailed it. Creamy, not too sweet, with that perfect balance of espresso and cocoa. I’d come back for that alone. The pasta was solid—fresh and cooked just right—but leaned a little heavy on the salt. Still tasty, just had me reaching for extra water.
Service:
The staff was warm and welcoming, the kind of place where they actually seem happy you’re there. Attentive without hovering, and they gave good recommendations without over-selling anything. Just easygoing, friendly service that made the whole experience more relaxed.
Ambiance:
Spiga’s tiny—just seven tables—but in a charming way. It felt intimate rather than cramped. Think cozy dinner party vibes with soft lighting and a relaxed, neighborhood feel. It’s the kind of spot where you could easily linger over a glass of wine without feeling rushed.
Overall:
Spiga’s a little gem. If you’re into unfussy, well-made Italian in a cozy setting—and you love tiramisu—it’s worth checking out.
Where the city pulses, and dreams collide,
Spiga stands—a treasure, warm and bright,
A culinary haven, a feast for the night.
Here, the air is fragrant with whispers of thyme,
And pasta twirls in a waltz so sublime.
Each dish a sonnet, crafted with care,
A celebration of flavors that linger in the air.
The laughter of friends, a comforting tune,
Beneath the soft glow of the crescent moon.
Savor the risotto, rich with delight,
Or wood-fired pizzas, a slice of pure light.
With each sip of Chianti, the heart feels so light,
As the sunset bathes the room in soft twilight.
At Spiga, each moment is tender and rare,
A symphony tasted, a love song to share.
So come, sit awhile, let the world fade away,
In this gem of a place, where palates sway.
For in every bite, every shared glance,
You’ll find the essence of Italy’s dance.
Both were pleasant. Relative to the salad, the pasta was more delicious. The sauce was delightful — I wished I had had the bread with the sauce!! I had taken the bread out first and set them aside and forgot about them until I finished the pasta.
The bread was a generous portion, and was well baked and I could enjoy it on its own.
