Spider Sushi is AMAZING! The atmosphere is inviting and it’s very comfortable. The food is made with quality and is always flavorful. Service is excellent as well! Ana is very attentive and answered any questions I had. I would recommend Spider Sushi to all my friends and family.

I really liked the food, the atmosphere is cozy, but our server is the absolute best. Very soft spoken — overall a great guy. And I really liked his hat ! (( ))

I recently ordered from Spider Sushi and overall had a mixed experience that I think is important to share.

I ordered the combo fried rice and very clearly requested no mushrooms. When you take the time to add special instructions, you expect them to be followed — especially when it comes to removing specific ingredients. Unfortunately, when my order arrived, the fried rice was still filled with mushrooms.

Thankfully, I’m not allergic and simply don’t prefer mushrooms, so this didn’t turn into a serious situation. But this is where it becomes a much bigger issue: failing to follow ingredient modifications — especially involving common allergens — can be extremely dangerous. For many people, ingredients like mushrooms, shellfish, nuts, dairy, or soy aren’t just preferences — they’re health risks. Overlooking special instructions could easily lead to a severe allergic reaction. Attention to these details isn’t optional in the food industry; it’s absolutely crucial. Restaurants have a responsibility to carefully review and honor dietary requests to protect their customers’ safety.

That said, the food itself had positives. The portion size of the combo fried rice was generous, and flavor-wise it was good aside from the mushrooms. I also ordered a Godzilla roll, and that was decent — nicely put together and flavorful. It complemented the meal well.

Overall, the taste and portions were solid, but accuracy with special instructions needs serious improvement. I hope Spider Sushi takes extra care moving forward, because while this situation turned out okay for me, it very easily could have been much more serious for someone else.

The food here was decent, and the service was excellent—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. That said, the pricing really doesn’t match the portions or quality. I ordered the shrimp yakisoba and was disappointed to find only four shrimp, each cut into smaller pieces to stretch it out. For $18, the portion size felt skimpy and definitely not worth it. The tempura vegetables tasted good, but the variety was underwhelming—just a few pieces of asparagus and some kabocha squash. No sweet potato, no broccoli, which made it feel incomplete. We also tried the Samurai Roll, which was almost $20, and the spicy salmon inside was surprisingly bland with very little flavor. The sushi rolls in general felt overpriced compared to similar restaurants in the area. Overall, while the staff make the dining experience pleasant, the value for money just isn’t there.

The food was decent, waited over 45 minutes with only two other people also inside. They clearly were priotizimg to go orders, waitress wasn’t attentive at all I had to ask for my daughter another water multiple times (I have served so I am always patient and understanding but there was not a rush) then while we were waiting to leave there was a mixup with a to go order and they asked the customer to go get the extra box from her car and then put it in another customers bag. Highly alarming.

Came here on a family recommendation and so far everything on the menu was delicious! It’s a little pricey but the quality of the sushi is excellent! My family and I recommend the fried rice and yakisoba entree if you don’t know what to order as that is our safe choices whenever we visit new restaurants. They have booster seats and fried chicken tenders if you want to bring young children-mine are picky with food so this was nice to know they had options for them. Atmosphere was chill and relaxed plus the wait staff is very friendly. 10/10 recommend a friend and family to check this place out!

Just as good as the original location! Sushi nailed out of the ballpark with freshness, flavor, quality, quantity and price. Casual to great place for a date. Intimate due to being a bit smaller than the original. Photos is matrix, scorpion, and wonder women (in that order from outside to middle). Mai Tai super delicious, and other beverages available (alcohol and not).

Update 2/2024: over time and multiple visits any number of things can change. I’m so excited to share that the consistency of food, service, and atmosphere stays a 5. The only complaint… the mixed drinks. The rum iced tea not good at all. The mai tai was okay, a 2 or 3. But the did makes up for it. Maybe next sake. Oh, and get the power shot!!! Different at first but yum.
