It’s a small cozy place , hospitality and food was good though we felt some dishes had little more salt than usual. Lot of dessert options and good part is they had mimosa included in there Buffet . I also liked that they have diner buffet on Fridays . I would recommend this place and may come again !

Great lamb chop curry. My husband got the pork curry and it was also savory. The spice level was greatly exaggerated by the chef lol. We did not feel any spiciness at all. I think they gave the two white dudes the least spicy (not knowing that they used to live in China and eat chillies for breakfast every morning). My Sri Lankan friend got a bit more kick in her foodz Overall we enjoyed the vibe here a lot. They have karaoke and buffet here on the weekend!

Whether you’ve had Sri Lankan cuisine many times, or this is your first time, this is the restaurant that is a MUST visit! The food is fantastic, however where this restaurant truly shines is the service — they deserve 6+ stars!!

Tried their yellow rice with chicken. Tasted good. String hoppers with coconut sambol is spicy and tastes good. Must try I would say.

While visiting the area on a business trip, found this place in Google. What a wonderful restaurant. Most Sri Lankan food varieties were served at the Friday dinner buffet; Spicy, mild & none spicy and delicious traditional desserts. Food served are more than moneys worth. Most of all excellent friendly customer service. Also, there were live music too. I definitely would go back. If you try this place, You’ll love it too.

Saturday buffet was amazing, balanaced fresh flavorful food (not too spicy). We loved various Chutneys (raw mango, onion, ginger) as well as Hoppers (crispy crepe with sweet coconut and jaggery cream). Also their fountain sodas are made with cane sugar.

If you want to taste Sri Lankan food in DFW area, the only place to visit is Spicy Zest. They have buffet on Friday evening and on Sunday brunch. The varieties are so wide you would not be able to taste all on one visit. We have visited Spicy Zest since its inception and see that there is an improvement each time. I am including some photos to show the varieties available.

We ended up at Spicy Zest after another restaurant we had chosen had a two hour (!) wait. We’ve tried Malaysian and Indonesian and Indian food, but had never been to a Sri Lankan restaurant.

Great selection. Kind, attentive service. Interesting selection. Definitely calls for a return for the weekend buffet (which they modestly describe as the largest in the USA). Weekend buffet is $22 (including soft drinks)!

Tasty and authentic food, served with great, attentive and friendly service. We had the Sat lunch buffet. The place was quite busy! We were greeted properly and promptly assigned a nice clean table, offered water and a few drink options (they have a full bar too).
