First of all we couldn’t even find the building—it was sketchy, poorly marked, and the door was locked. After the GPS sent us to the wrong place, we finally got there only for me to call and be told they didn’t have any of what I ordered. I had already placed the order on DoorDash, and they didn’t cancel it until I was physically there. Overall, a terrible experience. Do not recommend.

Spicy Safari truly delivered an excellent experience! I’ve seen a negative review about their timing, but in my experience, they were completely transparent they told me up front how long the order would take, and it arrived exactly as promised. If you want your food right away, simply order ahead, but trust me, it’s worth the wait.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious — one of the best Nigerian meals I’ve had in the area. The portion size wasn’t huge for the price, but I understand that could be because it’s New York. The taste, quality, and authenticity more than made up for it.
On top of that, they were warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. I left feeling like a valued customer. I’d definitely recommend Spicy Safari to anyone craving good, authentic African food.

First off I’m not the type to leave a review on a place but by god this has got to be one of the worst places I’ve ever been you get to the place it not even a restaurant to sit down it’s in some sketchy building with the Entrance locked and a small shoe box kitchen in the back but i said I’d give it a shot for some African food if it was good I call the lady she comes down take the order she tells me it gonna be about a 35 to 40 min wait so I go walk around the area for a bit with my girl call her back after about 45 min no answer call back again no answer she calls me back 15 min later she says about another 15 keep in mind it was only two plates of food no modifications nothing extra 2 and a half hours in total I waited we left don’t come here unless u wanna wait 3 hours for ur food
