This place has the best and most authentic Hanoi/ northern Viet cuisine and greatly affordable!
I’m from Austin and was looking for a restaurant that serves crispy tofu & noodles (shrimp paste)/ bun dau mam tom, and read somewhere on Facebook that they have it here. Drove all the way down just to get it and it’s VERY worth it. We also ordered the bun cha (Hanoi special grilled pork noodles) and it was so delicious and authentic, feeling like I’m back home in Vietnam. I don’t really eat out a whole lot, especially with Vietnamese cuisine, but this place is worth every single penny.
P/S: the boba is so good too, and the pearls feel like homemade. Got the jasmine milk tea with 100% sugar, and it tastes perfect!

I really enjoy eating here. The space is beautiful, spacious, and clean, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Bun Dau Mam Tom is my favorite dish, and this is my second time coming back — they did not disappoint me. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy traditional and local Vietnamese dishes.

A cozy space with gentle music for you to enjoy your meal. Attentive, cheerful, and friendly service. Flavorful dishes, featuring our famous Hanoi-style grilled pork with vermicelli, and a variety of hot pots with special broths you shouldn’t miss.

I recently dined in at Spicy Pot & Boba Tea after craving hotpot and wanting to treat myself. In hindsight, I probably wouldn’t choose this restaurant again for hotpot—it may not be the best place for it. I wouldn’t recommend it for hotpot specifically, though other dishes might be worth trying. I ended up spending most of the meal picking out tendon, which was unusually tough and almost felt like a choking hazard. That said, the service was excellent! There’s a first time for everything.

Support your local small business. This place is a true Northern Vietnamese food. The only place in San Antonio is worth for the phở. The rich and creamy broth, fresh made noodle, lots of meat and big portion. Service is always great here. Highly recommend

Beautiful atmosphere. The host was so pleasant in taking our orders and serving us our food. Food service was fast. The food was hot fresh and absolutely delicious. I sincerely recommend Vietnamese white coffee if you need an afternoon pick me up. It is smooth and strong and 50% sugar not too sweet. If you get the hot pot, it’s big enough for at least two people. Everyone I went with the grease that the broth in the hot pot is phenomenal.

The bun cha is so good I had to grab two more orders for the road back to Houston. Seriously wishing we had a spot like this back home. I’d definitely make the drive back just to have it again

Flavor Explosion at Spicy Pot & Boba Tea!

Every bite and sip was spot on. The appetizers were packed with flavor — the spicy garlic edamame was an addictive starter, and the crispy rolls were fresh and satisfying. Our waitress gave spot-on recommendations that really brought the meal together.

The hot pot was incredible — rich, spicy, and full of tender meats and fresh veggies. Easily one of the best broths I’ve had in a while.

And don’t skip the Thai tea boba — smooth, creamy, and just the right sweetness with perfectly chewy pearls. A refreshing finish to an already stellar meal.

Great service, amazing flavors, and an overall awesome dining experience. Will definitely be back!

I’m Vietnamese and this restaurant serves the most authentic Hanoi / Vietnamese food in San Antonio. We had Vietnamese grilled meatball, Vietnamese beef pho, tofu plate (bun dau mam tom) and fish La Vong spring roll. The portion is very large, with excellent flavors. The pho broth was clear with lots of meat. My favorite was their dipping sauce (fermented fish sauce) as well as the pickled garlic. Very authentic and Vietnamese approved!
