This is a hot pot and dry pot restaurant. You need to select any you like by yourself. And we also have crawfish over rice and spicy Anhui beef noodles. Thank you for you guys coming. I wish you have a wonderful day.
Spicy Charm is a Malatang( Hot Pot ) and Malaxiangguo( Dry Pot) restaurant it started in Los Angeles in 2015. And create a dish crawfish over rice with sunny eggs at the same of the year. We use the beef bones and chickens to cook for 12 hours as the base of the soup. Also, we use Hotpot & Drypot hand-made base sauce that needs to cook for 7-9 hours per month. Enjoy in Spicy Charm.

This place has got the numbing spices DOWN. Overall quality of their ingredients are decent. No fishiness from the slices of fish I added. Vegetables didn’t taste/smell like they weren’t washed (like most other bigger restaurants). However there was difficulty eating the damn tasty thing I got given a small plate rather than a small bowl for picking out my hotpot pieces. This made it kinda tricky to eat/slurp the soup at the end of the meal.
8/10

Tried spicy soup combo, did not feel really good favor inside, can be eat with peanut butter source, but source is so diluted. Crawfish rice is a better try.

Food poisoning aware. we visited this restaurant on December 28 2024 by around 10:30 PM, and ordered the spicy bowl, dumplings, and pickled garlic. in the same night and the day after, I had vomitted and diarrhea more than total of 10 times. due to the severe dehydration, my hands were even cramped. We were only travelling to LA for a couple of days and that we our last day. We missed our original flight due to my sickness. I tried to reach out to the restaurant but the owner only picked up the phone once and never answered. Terrible place.

Best Chinese spicy dry pot in LA! I’m fully aware that it’s not healthy to take in too much oily n salty n spicy food, but every other month I’d be craving for the dry pot here n would end up with a full belly of satisfaction…
