The food is great. Service was OK. In fact, in the previous posts I’ve made, the service would greatly influence my impression of the food. But this food was sooooo good that it could have been delivered to the table by the most vial of person, and I would still give this a five-star rating, they could of rolled it out on a dolly a dropped it on my plate with a horse manure shovel the food would still of brought this place to a five-star rating. If you love Thai food, this is a must go place in the area! Fantastic!

I love Thai food and decided to give Spicy Bangkok Cafe a try. I’m glad I did! The place is clean and spacious, and the menu on the wall was easy to read. I ordered the Basil Fried Rice and the Pad Thai, both with chicken but without spice. (Considering this was my first visit, I purposely ordered non-spicy food to gauge the true flavors.) The ingredients were fresh and both dishes were very flavorful. My order was ready in 10 minutes. I look forward to going back soon and getting meals with spices. If this first experience is any indication, I will be raising my rating up to five stars.

Brah. The food was immaculate! I got the chicken garlic fried rice and my husband got the medium spicy curry noodle. They were both so delicious and so tasty. I walked in and ordered to go and it came out within 10-15 minutes. I will most definitely return! And I’ll bring friends!

Jerry got mad skills in the kitchen. Totally blown away Best ever eaten Thai Breaded Catfish in Red Curry and Veggies OMG . I could only eat half a perfect medium spicy bowl of Love. Why doesn’t any of the media outlets mention Thai Fish dishes for Lent? Available everyday dining room open filled with Happy diners, place been open three years now. The Chef got mad skills even better than Bangkok 96, yes had a dozen plus meals to say that. The family has three locations in Metro Detroit and not one media outlet has ever bothered to write a article WHY. We always start with the Big Tom Kha plenty to share and leftovers for home. She absolutely Loves the Chicken Satay, Tofu Tod and Spring Rolls her full meal. Fast friendly service, quality food and reasonable prices makes this a must visit. Even though it says Spicy Bangkok, me with my Ulcers can eat the wonderful non spicy options food there. Always clean, temperature piping hot. Service good. Communication on phone 50% poor.

Placing a takeout order is relatively easy, and the food was promptly prepared. I ordered the vegetarian pad thai, with medium spice and spring rolls.
It’s not my favorite thai spot for a few reasons. The spring rolls were mush on the inside. There was an overpowering flavor of some sort and zero spice.

They have not updated their menu prices online and you have to go through their Facebook to find their website in their description. Also, they have a section of rolls with some listed as fried and some not. I asked for vegetable rolls because they were just listed as being wrapped in rice paper, not fried thinking that’s what they called fresh rolls. It is not. Also, their Thai tea is just a mixed powder and not with condensed milk, which I am glad they directly state on their menu.
