The Worst indian restaurant I have ever been to in is Spices of Punjab on 320 Victoria Ave East, Regina, Saskatchewan.

1. Starting from substandard indoor with torn seats, tables to overall poor cleanliness as evidenced by the images attached.
The seating, table, floor were all dirty.
There was a huge number of people on the one half of the restaurant inflating balloons for a birthday party using a baloon inflator plugged in. So you can simply imagine the chaos and the quiet and peaceful ambiance inside the restaurant.

2. When it comes to the food,
We ordered Tandoori Chicken which didn’t have any flavor at all. I will rate it with -10 on review on a scale of 0 to 10.

3. The butter Tikka masala or the Lamb Rogan gosh ,we ordered were not even up to the basic taste.
The only thing that was some what okay was the butter Naan.
4. On top of that when you order a dish the rice or Naan doesn’t come with the dish. You have to pay extra for the rice. I wouldn’t have been soo disappointed if the rice was at the least cooked the right way or well enough. The rice was too dry, and only half cooked.

Visited here couple of days ago. Food was good, decent amount of portions, didn’t had to wait too much. Wasn’t much busy because we were there early in the morning. The girl on the front desk was really nice and friendly and she also helped us to choose the items from the menu. I didn’t get her name but she really need appreciation.

Food is authentically prepared as you can feel the aroma of the spices with each bite. Ordered Chicken tikka masala, which was good. There naan bread was amazing as its soft and crispy with perfect flavours of butter and garlic. Will visit them more often to check ou the other speciality dishes they have. This place is recommended.

We visited Spice of Punjab again today, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. One of the staff members had a very poor attitude — when we politely asked for a takeout bag, she acted as though she was doing us a huge favor. For a restaurant, professionalism and basic courtesy should be a priority.
After serving our food, no one checked on our table or offered any assistance. The staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves, and we eventually had to call the restaurant just to get someone’s attention.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the professionalism and customer service.

Great spot for Indian food. The flavours were authentic, portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh.Whether you’re dining in or doing takeout, this is a dependable spot if you want real Indian flavours without disappointment. Would definitely return.

Experiencing a -37C January in Regina was worth it to get the chance to eat at this place.
Customer service needs work, but honestly, who cares. Every dish I tried was perfect, the naan were perfect. The care and attention put into the dishes this kitchen puts out makes me want to fly back to Regina…maybe in summer next time

We visited the restaurent yesterday and had a great experience. The food was really good and spicy as our requirement. The quantity was also good. The customer service can get little more professional. There was alot of disturbance from the kitchen cooks and servers, talking loud and we got distracted a couple of times, while spending our quality time together.
Only one thing if they can change and be more professional would be great!!!
I will recomend this restaurent if you want good food, according to your taste!!

Visited on 22 Nov 2025 (saturday)around 9 PM. One of the two girls at the front was super rude for no reason. She was talking to the other staff about a customer complaining about not getting cutlery, she said customer had “no sense,” ironically she didn’t give us any cutlery either . She messed up our order, and we had to go back three times to get different missing items. The mistakes weren’t the main issue, it was her attitude and lack of basic customer service. The way she spoke and behaved made us feel really bad about the whole experience. Why were you rude to us? What did we, as customers, do to deserve that attitude? We’re paying for good service, not disrespect.
Honestly, please learn proper customer service before working in this role. This experience was really disappointing.

I’ve given Spice of Punjab multiple chances, but this is really frustrating. I was promised my order would be ready in “just 1 minute,” but I ended up waiting around 20 minutes—again. This has happened to me about three times already. If you’re going to promise a quick pickup, please make sure it’s actually ready on time.

Ordered Salad and got sliced Cucumbers! Where is the salad (mixed greens and veges)? Called them and they said this is what you get! Excuse me! Not ordering again.
