Our food tastes really good. Not a fan of indian food but this place is an exception as they’re the only indian restaurant I like so far. My most favourite are the beef samosa and shrimp masala, truly amazing. Our server is amazing as well. She’s friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is also great and quite.

My partner had a medical emergency while we were out for dinner at spices. The staff here handled it very well and were even so kind to discount the meal despite my willingness to pay for the full meal.
I didn’t catch her name but thank you to the woman who called the ambulance for us. And for staying so calm. You really grounded me in that situation.

I have ordered from uber eats a couple of times now and every time they either put sooo much spices in biriyani that you can’t even eat it without having something super sweet or on side or it’s stale. I don’t understand someone is spending money to get food and you would make food like this. And last time i called remembering that last time the biriyani wasn’t good and i asked the lady to change it to butter chicken. I paid $20 for biriyani and guess what the girl on the phone giving so much attitude and saying I can’t change it. If the price would be same i would do it but I can’t. Are you joking, butter chicken is more than $20 since when?

Wonderful place! My husband and I were here a couple of weeks ago and were truly impressed. Even though we’re not fans of Indian cuisine, they managed to make us fall in love with it. The guy at the reception was very kind, helped us choose our dishes, and even prepared a less spicy portion just for us. We didn’t have enough time to try many items, so we only ordered the masala butter tofu — and it was divine. The tofu melted in our mouths, we loved it so much. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you very much!

Very disappointing experience. I ordered chicken noodles, waited 15 minutes, went home, and found there was no chicken in it. I came back after calling them, and instead of fixing their mistake quickly, they made me wait another 15 minutes because they were “busy.” Nearly an hour wasted for one dish due to their error.
What made it worse was the rude attitude of the server, Mark Patel. No proper apology, just careless and dismissive behavior. Completely unacceptable service.
I don’t want to ruin the restaurant image but that person’s behaviour make me to do it.

I Usually very much enjoy Indian food. The butter chicken tasted like tomatoe soup no flavour no spice. The rice was horrible old and stale and aweful. The mango chicken was same lots of gristle which in chicken pieces that’s strange but no flavour no spice and the naan bread I tried to eat a couple pieces ended up throwing it all in the trash could not eat anything. I’m not sure who was cooking yesterday but was the worst indian food I’ve had in my entire life. I don’t know how they stay in business. I don’t usually complain about food but this was very bad. My friend try a little and could not eat either. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Food is very good and love going here when in town. However, I was overcharged. One receipt says the order was suppose to cost 39.87, but the other receipt says 43.67 (Before Tip). I called the restaurant to acquire about an updated receipt, and the manager said he would look into, however has not contacted me back. Just a heads up to ensure to check receipts before checking out so you are not overcharged.

Consistently great food. Hands down my favourite butter chicken. Service slightly slower due to revolving door of Skip orders, but always friendly and they do their best. They dont stop. Congrats Spices on your second year win of Best of YMM. Well deserved.

I recently visited Spice Indian Restaurant in Fort McMurray with a friend and we were thoroughly impressed. We tried their biryani, tandoor chicken, butter chicken, momos, and butter naan – all of which were absolutely delicious! The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. The prices are quite affordable, and there’s plenty of parking available. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine!
