Picked up Natukodi Chicken Biryani – it was pathetic. Dry and extremely chewy pieces of bone with barely any meat. I had to simply trash it.
Gulab Jamun was stale and tasted sour. See attached video, never seen a sugar syrup like this.
The lady who took the order asked me if I wanted Onion Uttapam to which I replied, “not onion, PLAIN Uttapam.”
I was tired at the end of day of travelling which started at 6 am and it was 5 pm with no lunch.
So I came home and opened the box to find an ONION UTTAPAM WHICH WAS BURNT BLACK.
I scraped the burnt portion before I took the pictures.
Part 2.
Two batata wadas.
Onions and spicy like there’s no tomorrow.
Enough.
No more food from these folks.
I wonder what’s in store for me in the Biryani.
It sure is ominous because she asked me spice level..
How can spice level be adjusted in a real DUM biryani??
We ordered Dal Makhni and Panner Butter Masala. I am very sure that they have never tasted a real dal makhni.
The one that we order tasted like dal mixed with Sambhar. Panner was edible but again way off then what a real PBM would taste like.
Avoid this place!
Also food was cold. it was cold dosa , cold sambhar.
Never stop by here. Spoil our January 1st 2024
I love their Onion Pakoda, Onion Samosa, Punugulu, Mirchi bajji (stuffed and plain), and Plantain bajji.
Definitely recommend the take-out option (as the place is not ideal for dining-in).
Below are the items I ordered with their ratings
Gongura Pickle – 9/10,
Chicken Pickle – 10/10, exceeded my expectations,
Mutton Pickle – 6/10, tastes good but very hard to chew,
Tomato Pickle – 9/10,

Onion Samosa – 10/10 – almost original taste,
Jaggery Jalebi – 10/10, – optimal sweetness,
