I have been wanting to try Caribbean food, but wasn’t sure where to go for the first time. We tried the Ackee and Saltfish, Curry goat, Ox Tail, fried chicken, Mac n Cheese, cabbage, the rice with beans, a kola, and spicy beef patties on warm coco bead. I will absolutely be back often; EVERYTHING was incredible!!!

Went here for the first time with my husband. A friendly gentleman greeted and explained very kindly about the menu. The food came out so quick and super hot fresh cooked. The oxtail my husband had was very soft and nicely cooked. The veggie plate that I got was well seasoned. The portion side was big. The eating area was very clean and well maintained. Overall we were very satisfied with it. My half Jamaican husband approved! haha

We ordered platters from Spices Restaurant for my son’s graduation, and everything was excellent from start to finish. The Jamaican food was delicious—especially the curry chicken with rice and peas. The flavors were spot-on, and everyone loved it. Our order was carefully packed for transport, which made everything so easy on a busy day. The staff was friendly, kind, and welcoming, and the overall experience was just wonderful. Bonus points for the great parking as well. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was okay…. not anything exceptional & not authentic Jamacian food. The food can use more flavor especially the jerk chicken 🙁 I was disappointed with how bland it was. The patties are like the ones you can get from the store… I thought the were made in house so another disappointment. The juice was good tho!

Im very disappointed tonight this is what I got baby oxtails! I did order a hr before closing but they could have said they don’t have enough for a full serving! This is my 3rd time ordering from here and the really skimped me this time compared to the other times I had come smh I even recommended them since the other oxtails spot is soul food style but this is not ok!

A couple of co-workers talked this place up….and I see why. From the time they said welcome in, I felt just that. The register attendant who was very kind and patient, explained their dishes to me, I didnt feel rushed. He also recommended other menu items I might enjoy. The place is super clean and seemed very well run. The portions were generous and tasted good. Thank you Spices for making my first visit pleasantly memorable.

I ordered the oxtail and jerk chicken jumbo plate with peas and rice, cabbage and plantain with sweet potato cornbread and pineapple Ginger soda. Absolutely delicious!!! Everything was well seasoned and cooked to perfection . Definitely will visit again whenever I’m in town.
