The atmosphere is clean and modern.
The service was outstanding.
The restaurant has a second level, overlooking the main dining room and the bar.
The bar is modern and stunning, and it will be great if they can create house craft cocktails infused with Indian spices.
There is a bil window overlooking the kitchen where you can see the food is prepared with a lot of love and experience.
The food was absolutely delicious. We tried two appetizers – fried mushrooms with chickpeas butter and Lambs Samosa – Our server recommended that one and it was very delicious, it came with three sauces that were super tasty.
For the main dish we ordered Butter chicken Thali and Lmb Shank Thali, both were incredibly good, tasty and cooked to perfection.
We are looking forward to dining here again.
The space is elegant, warm and inviting.
Our server was attentive and had that graciousness that I’ve often experienced in Indian people.
And the food was delicious… the best Indian food I’ve eaten in Bend.
I had a vegetable samosa and goat biryani. My friend had the coconut chicken. Both were great.
This is the kind of place that I not only enjoyed but find myself wanting to share so that they can flourish and stay in business for a long, long time.
We ordered the Thali dishes (that include a number of side dishes and desert) and everyone was highly satisfied – definitely visiting again!
On the positive side, I liked the flavor of the chutney and sambar — though sambar was slightly on the sweeter side, they still tasted decent. The Chicken Pakora was good, but the Chai was disappointing. It wasn’t served hot, and despite being labeled as Cardamom Chai, there was no hint of cardamom in either taste or aroma.
The service was friendly, but there was a mix-up with the bill. We were initially given the correct cheque, but after handing over our card, the server returned with a customer copy from someone else’s bill, and we were overcharged. Thankfully, she acknowledged the mistake and corrected it.
Overall, I’d say it was a decent experience. The food is okay and edible, but if you’re well-versed with authentic Indian flavors, you might not enjoy it fully. The service was good despite the small hiccup.
I especially loved lamb samosa & chicken biryani , it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had!
This place definitely exceeded my expectations — great food, great people, and great vibes. I’ll absolutely be coming back and recommending it to all my friends!
Great place to eat when you’re in downtown Bend, wanting takeout, or craving the best Indian cuisine Bend has to offer!
Came with 8 people and split a gamut of various dishes and each ordered tahli to have a base.
Purely worth going at least once for the quality to price ratio.
All worthy of your indulgence:
Aloo gobi
Gobi manchurian
Chicken tikka
Lamb vindaloo
