Finding a good halal Chinese restaurant in Dallas was a delight, and this spot did not disappoint. The ambiance was clean, cozy, and welcoming, setting the tone for a great dining experience.

The staff were incredibly friendly and offered thoughtful suggestions, ensuring we tried some of their best dishes. We started with the hot and sour soup, which had a great balance of flavors. On their recommendation, we also tried the fried Mammos—while it was a new experience for the kids and not their favorite, the dish itself was well-prepared and enjoyable.

I ordered the Mongolian beef, which had a unique twist compared to other Chinese restaurants. The flavor leaned heavier on the soy sauce than expected, but still offered a satisfying taste. The garlic chicken was packed with bold flavor and cooked perfectly. One standout moment was how accommodating the staff were—they made a special shrimp dish for my son, simple and without gravy, even though it wasn’t on the menu. Their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile made the experience truly memorable.

The service was excellent, and their commitment to customer satisfaction was clear throughout our visit. I’m definitely looking forward to returning and exploring more of their menu.

Found this wonderful Indian/Chinese fusion restaurant called Spice Wok and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Chicken Man-chow Soup, and it was perfect—flavorful, hearty, and seriously hit the spot. Great food and a unique menu. Already planning my next visit!

I recently visited for their iftar buffet, but unfortunately, it was not a good experience. The food options were very limited, and on top of that, everything tasted quite average. The main entrées were mostly chicken dishes, and surprisingly, they all tasted almost the same — the only noticeable difference was the color of the gravy.
The space was also too small. There was hardly any room to move around comfortably, which made the whole experience even less enjoyable.
Overall, it was disappointing, and I won’t be going back.

First time visiting Spice Work Restaurant. The service was friendly and we were greeted with smiles, which was very nice and welcoming.

However, the wait time was very long. We waited about 48 minutes for one order of Schezuan fried rice. During the wait, other customers were also looking around and checking other tables to see if food had come out. By the time the food arrived, I had lost my patience and decided to make it to-go.

The prices are pretty decent per person. It seems like the servers may be new and still learning how service and table checks work, as there were no check-ins after taking the order. The space is also very small, and servers had to squeeze between tables to serve guests.

Other than the long wait and service issues, I don’t have any other major concerns. Hopefully things improve with more experience and better timing.

Back here again from Houston during the memorial day weekend. Ordered hot and sour soup, chicken corn soup, garlic fried rice, garlic beef and orange chicken. Food was delicious and fresh. Corn soup is def on the sweeter side but my daughter enjoyed it. Garlic beef we ordered medium spice but was definitely still spicy. Service was friendly.

We visited here on a friend’s recommendation and were very delighted with the food. We ordered hot n sour soup, chili garlic noodles and garlic beef. Food was fresh and tasted amazing! Since the place is small they were hesitant to let us sit on the 4 people table but the 2 person table is very small. Few people have complained about the air conditioning and we agree it was pretty hot inside specially when you are eating hot n spicy food. The space gets full very quick so a nice cool temp should be maintained for comfort. Overall we will be back for the food but hope management can address these issues

Our server had a terrible experience. She was extremely rude and unhelpful. She didn’t refill our water bottles or provide any other assistance. I wish we had a different server. She was very responsive and checked back with us frequently. The food tasted like home, but there wasn’t much flavor in the spices. My daughter asked for everything from the server like boxes, tissue, and leaving off the table for support.

Genuinely one of my top places in Dallas – I’m here at least once a week. It is so delicous and flavorful. Try the coriandor chicken and spicy chicken chili momos; the soups are also amazing.

Just be sure to tip the waitresses in cash or else they don’t recieve it; very unfortunate that the owner isn’t tipping the waitresses from credit cards!!!

The food portions are nice and the place is very clean. The servers are very professional and gave very good service. The dishes are very reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend this place for Indo Chinese food.

We came an hour before closing yet they served us with the same amazing food and awesome service. This is our go to place and will be for years to come. We always try new resturant like Chef Sun but they never ever compare to Spice Wok. The girl employees Razi and the one with the glasses are always so insanely kind, and they provide amazing service. Love this place!!
