Spice Waala is a fantastic spot for authentic Indian street food!

The snacks are flavorful and true to what you’d find in India – perfectly seasoned and freshly made. Their chai and lassi are both excellent, and the soft serve is a fun and delicious bonus with flavors changing every month.

You can really taste the care and authenticity in everything they serve. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the service is always friendly.

It’s the perfect place to grab a quick bite or satisfy a craving for real Indian flavors. Highly recommend for anyone who loves good food and great vibes!

SpiceWala is a wonderful spot for authentic Indian snacks and chai. The vibe is warm with Bollywood music, plenty of seating, and an inviting atmosphere—perfect for groups.

We tried the Bhel Puri and Masala Chai, both tasted authentic, and the chai was served with biscuits just like in India. The highlight for me was their in-house paneer and open kitchen, which is very clean and transparent.

Parking can be a bit tricky (street parking or Safeway lot nearby), and the Bhel Puri portion felt slightly small, but the taste was absolutely 10/10.

Overall, highly recommended if you’re craving real Indian flavors.

We got the paneer bhurji and chicken tikka rolls (added an egg to both) and they were amazing. The chutney in the paneer roll was super fresh and the chicken tikka was perfectly flavored. They weren’t super oily either so that was a pleasant surprise. The mango lassi was great too! Masala chai was nice – it was a bit mild though and could’ve used more masala (personal preference)

Just, wow. I ordered the lamb roll with egg and it was sublime. I nearly coughed when I was hit with so much flavor and juice in that first bite. Incredible flavor, straight forward and quick service and an accessible menu. Go. Today.

It’s decent Indian chaat. But the flavors and quality isn’t ‘fantastic’. Clove in Renton does mouth-licking pani-puri. I understand the customer base and price point are different, but chaat aka street food is meant to be delicious AND cheap. Seems like they stopped trying for excellence and are content catering to a non-Indian crowd who don’t necessarily have high standards from flavor. But, I appreciate them being around and being decent!

Food was DELICIOUS!! Super quick and casual. I would highly recommend getting a chutney, like the cilantro chutney. There was very limited seating, so I would recommend getting the food to go. It was also pretty affordable. If you are looking to grab a quick lunch or dinner, or getting food to go, I would definitely recommend this. If you are looking for a sit down meal, come back another day. Overall, Ana amazing delicious restaurant!

I was in town visiting and stopped here for lunch. Highly recommend. I ordered the chicken tikka roll and it was so flavorful. Tons of protein and a generous portion. I also has the fries and they were hands down the best fries I’ve ever had. The sauce with the fries was sooo good. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Seattle !

found this place as a pretty informal, cheap, mostly-takeout option for street Indian food – which is not a common thing to find around here so props for that
I got the lamb variety of their kathi roll – which is just a roti wrapped around a meat + chutney & onions.

I generally liked this roll. It came with three lamb patties inside – each of which has cooked pretty well. the long time given to the marinade definitely shows up in the flavor, especially on the outside.
As for the add-ons, the green chutney is pretty solid as well. While it’s not quite a flavor punch, it gives enough hints of the flavor that it performs its job as the sauce.
The roti that its wrapped in is also lightly toasted, which is nice because it balances that mix between hard & soft so that it holds its shape

For the price, this ended up costing me about $11 – which is a decent deal. It’s not a huge portion, but it’s honestly enough for a lunch

Overall, this is a pretty cool concept, and while the food isn’t quite a flavor experience, it’s still a pretty enjoyable meal. 8.15/10

Spice Waala is a delightful Indian street food gem nestled in the heart of Seattle.
I recently indulged in their Chicken Tikka Kathi Roll and Aloo Tikki Chaat, and they transported me back to the bustling streets of India with their explosive flavors.

Each mouthful of Aloo Tikki Chaat offers a symphony of textures and flavors, ranging from the crispy tikki to the creamy yogurt and the vibrant tang of the chutneys. As for the Chicken Tikka Kathi Roll, the real star of the show were the tender, marinated chicken tikka pieces, which brought an extraordinary burst of flavor to every bite.

Service was top-notch as well, with quick turnaround time and attentive staff.

My only wish? More seating to savor the experience fully. Nevertheless, the portion sizes are generous, perfect for a snack, although for a full meal, you might want to consider ordering two items (just my opinion). Can’t wait to explore more of their tantalizing menu offerings!
