Tried their special Ashtamudi meen curry , meen poolichattu with Malabar porotta & appam… Felt like traveled back to home….

Eventhough this place looks like a small one , it has enough places to sit inside. We went there as a group of 15 and were seated, treated and filled whole heartedly. Authentic south Indian dishes were served with great service. We had the biriyani, chakka, fish, beef , kizhi porotta and everything was amazing, especially the fish dishes like nirvana, tawa fry and fish masala. Finding Authentic kerala dishes is rare to find, but this place did justice to the dishes. Would definitely recommend this place. Parking is available in nearby streets.

This was the first time I’m trying an Indian restaurant in Dublin. We were two people and we ordered Malabar Nikkah Chicken Biriyani, one porotta and Spice village beef roast initially.The biriyani was very delicious, flavourful. The chicken was well cooked and masala was very taste and a bit onion sweet. One thing I would specify next time is to make it a little more spicy, for the beef roast as well. The beef roast was well cooked and tasty as well. The porotta was soft, crisp and fresh. It was a very wonderful experience. After these I ordered one more porotta, unfortunately took them more than 10 minutes to prepare, don’t know why. And I was asked to repeat what all we ate, 2 times, to two different people so that they could get the bill. The thing I didn’t understand was, why the guy who took the order didn’t note it down or something. These are the only two reasons why I would rate the service 2 stars. Otherwise it is a must try resturant.

The Malabar biriyani was absolutely delicious, flavorful, well-balanced, and cooked to perfection. The cardamom tea was sweet and just right. The atmosphere was clean and aesthetically pleasing, making it a great spot whether you’re walking in or booking a reservation. The service was excellent, and Gilu was a wonderful host who made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place!

The buffet lunch was average in terms of quantity but excellent in quality. Here are some observations:
Pros:
1. The taste of the food was exceptional.
2. The ambience was delightful and well-maintained.
3. Staff were courteous, and the service was top-notch.
Cons:
1. The buffet had very limited options, and there was no clear communication about what was included—lacking transparency.
2. Only appam was served as a bread option with the buffet.
3. Unfortunately, the fish curry was disappointing in taste.
4. Reaching the restaurant by phone during the day to make a reservation was difficult, as calls were either unanswered or unreachable.
5. Only bottled beer was available—no tap beer.
Overall:
An okay experience. The quality of the food and service stood out, but the buffet lacked variety and didn’t justify the price. With a few improvements, especially in buffet offerings and communication, this place could offer much better value.

We have ordered Ona sadya for 50 people recently from Spice Village, Rialto which is known for its taste and hospitality. This year we, the malayali staff of NH Nursing home celebrated onam with their amazing onasadya at a reasonable price. They delivered the sadya at the right time and the service was exceptional. One of the owner Mr Nishad helped us in many different ways as he is very experienced with his happy customers and he proved his culnery skills are the best in Dublin when it comes to south Indian dishes!! We are really thankful for all of your help and this Onam will be remembered!

My wife and I just ate here. It was SO good. Much more South Indian focused than what we would often be used to in Ireland, but there are plenty of staples you would expect to see in any Indian restaurant and the South Indian dishes are phenomenal and definitely worth trying.
We were there (just now) on a Friday night and the customers were roughly 50% Indian (always a good sign for authenticity) and 50% Irish, and everyone looked delighted with the food being served (though no one as much as my wife and I!!!).
I highly recommend this restaurant, and will do so to anyone I can.

Don’t let the pictures or the decor fool you. While it doesn’t look as modern as some places, this was incredible! We went on a Tuesday night, thinking we wouldn’t need to book… we had to wait for a table as it was so busy.
All the servers were super friendly and gave great recommendations.
To start, we went with the Spice platter and Popadoms & dip…. It was all so fresh and delicious!!
Mains: Roasted beef and Lamb Madras…. I can’t even describe how good they were. There was such depth to these dishes that I’ve rarely experienced with Indian food in Ireland. So good!! And yes, they had a good kick of spiciness but they did offer to make the dishes more mild, we declined.
For three of us to eat with a bottle of wine and some beers, it was around €110!! What a bargain!!! Can’t recommend this place enough! It’s a must!
