1. The veggie pakoras we ordered were mild (I have Minnesota white spice intolerance), but these pakoras definitely still have a bite of heat to them. Not enough to cause a massive issue – but if you can’t handle any spice, just be warned mild for those is still a little spicy.
2. This is one of the only Indian restaurants I’ve been to in the twin cities where rice and naan is not included with an entree. I ordered garlic naan, but thought we’d get regular naan and rice. We did not. So be warned of that as well, it’s not indicated on their website or online ordering.
All in all, the service was pretty good. Nothing out of this world, but I’d say meets expectations when ordering for pickup.
See below for my overall rating of food below!
Veggie Pakoras: 3/5 stars (aforementioned spice issue)
Afghani Chicken Bites: 4/5 stars
Murgh Malai Tikka: 4/5 stars (better in house, 5/5 when fresh)
Garlic naan: 5/5 stars
What truly stood out was the service. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable—perfect for spending quality time over a great meal.
I started with the Rayalaseema Karam Dosa, which was beautifully done—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and paired with delicious accompaniments. The Street Gobi Noodles were ordered spicy; while the heat level was higher than I’d prefer, the dish itself was flavorful. The gobi was perfectly crispy and well‑spiced, and the noodles were soft and cooked well.
For takeout, I picked up the Vijayawada Chicken Biryani and Guthi Vankaya Curry. The curry leaned a bit oily but was still incredibly tasty. The biryani seemed to have a strong ghee flavor and less rice portion compared to chicken but still delicious.
The ambience is pleasant overall, though the booth seating feels too compact and a bit uncomfortable. Service was on the slower side but still acceptable.
Update on second visit:
Poori potato sabji – 4/10
Chicken majestic – 5/10
Podi Idly – 7.5/10
Andhra Chicken curry – 7/10
Garlic naan – 10/10
Rasmalai – not traditional flavor
We tried the popcorn chicken, cauliflower dish, butter chicken, garlic naan, and biryani. Everything was delicious and flavorful. I couldn’t stop raving about the butter chicken and garlic naan.
The servings are on the smaller side but despite this, we still had a lot of leftovers. My family doesn’t eat much though so it was perfect for us.
The decor in the place is also very nice. I loved how they have sinks on the outside of the bathrooms to wash your hands. The bathroom is very spacious too – however, it was kind of wet on the ground near the toilet. It could be kept a bit cleaner.
Despite this, I had an overall great experience and will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know!
We ordered Butter Naan, Natu Kodi Pulao, Chicken Kothu Parotta, and Chicken Tikka Masala. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served at the right temperature. The Natu Kodi Pulao had an authentic taste with a balanced blend of spices, while the Chicken Tikka Masala was rich and paired well with the soft Butter Naan. The Chicken Kothu Parotta was filling and tasty, though slightly milder than I personally prefer. Overall, the dishes were enjoyable, and my family appreciated the variety we tried.
The restaurant also has a grocery store attached, which is very convenient. I purchased some mutton there, and it was good quality. Although I haven’t tried their buffet yet, I would like to on a future visit.
What impressed me most was the attentive service. Even though we arrived close to closing time, the staff checked in multiple times to see if we needed anything additional. When we requested extra raita, they provided it promptly. This level of care and attentiveness made our visit even more pleasant.
With good food, a clean environment, and attentive staff, this restaurant is a solid addition to the area. I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu.
What really stood out, though, was the service. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.
