good ambience for a dinner but quite small location. First best thing is the service which is amazing.
Ordered chicken curry (spice level 5) , palak paneer (spice level 4), bullet naan and garlic naan. Along with some papad.
Everything was yummy. But the chicken curry had very less gravy than expected. Would be great if the gravy quantity is increased.
Else, had good time.

At this restaurent, dining is an experience rather than just a meal. From the moment you step inside, the warm lighting and rustic decor envelop you in a cozy Italian atmosphere. The staff greets you with genuine smiles, making you feel right at home. I ordered the homemade lasagna, which was a delightful blend of rich flavors and perfectly cooked pasta. The portion size was generous, and every bite was packed with a medley of savory meat and creamy béchamel sauce. The accompanying garlic bread was crispy and not overly oily, providing just the right amount of crunch. For dessert, the tiramisu was the star of the show—a balanced sweetness with a hint of coffee that left me wanting more. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered, and I appreciated the extensive wine list, which complements the menu beautifully. Overall, Bella Italia is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine in a welcoming setting.

The food and beverages were delicious, especially the fish coconut curry and the Mango Lassi. This was the kids first time trying Indian food and they ate their entire meal. We really appreciated the ability to customize spice levels, especially the kids. I was not sure if spice level 4 was enough heat for me so the server brought over some extra spicy sauce in case I needed more with my dish, which was very thoughtful and kind. The service was attentive and friendly making our meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant has a clean, welcoming atmosphere and overall good price value. The restaurant had nice music playing in the background. The restrooms are beautiful, clean and well maintained. Parking was easy with their free parking lot and fee based street parking. The restaurant was easy to find.

This restaurant was the perfect spot for date night. The decor is nice and the staff was friendly. I couldn’t believe was a great deal the wine by the bottle was! The food was beyond delicious, some of the best Indian we’ve had. The chicken tikka masala was so flavorful with the right amount of spice/heat. We asked the server for his favor lamb dish (I don’t remember the name). It was so good. The meat was tender and the sauce was perfectly savory. The garlic naan had a great chew with a nice balance of garlic flavor. If we hadn’t been full I’m sure we would have licked the plates. We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes.

This place delivers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food is consistently flavorful and so delicious. Every dish has the perfect balance of authentic Indian spices without being overwhelming. The Chicken Makhani was my favorite, it was so rich and creamy. The garlic naan is perfectly soft with just the right char.
The service is prompt, and the staff genuinely care about your experience. The atmosphere is modern yet warm, making it equally great for casual dining or a night out. It’s clear the chefs take pride in what they create.
If you’re looking for top-tier Indian food with quality you can count on every time, Spice & Tonic is absolutely worth it.

Ever since my first experience coming here, every employee has been exceedingly kind and attentive. From remembering orders you like, to memorizing the spice level you enjoy, to actively going out of their way to make you feel like apart of a family, everyone at this restaurant knows how to bring you back and none of that is mentioning the food.

I’d myself a relatively picky eater but have come here so often I’ve slowly been branching out my tastes. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing, everything is spiced to perfection and I usually have enough to eat more later in the day. The naan has always been perfect everytime I’ve come here, and I highly recommend going during lunch for their lunch options.

I’ve brought a large majority of my family here, and I highly recommend Spice and Tonic to anyone in the area looking for a place to try something new or if you just enjoy Indian Cuisine. Thank you so much, S&T for continuing to treat me and everyone I bring here so well!! ❤️

Entire vegan menu!
Delicious food, good prices, and nice service. I had the vegan vegetable coconut curry very delicious with fresh potatoes, carrots, peas ,etc. Our service was very good even though it was only one person hosting, running food, and taking orders; he was working very hard. Nice interior space with tables and booths, nice for casual or romantic date nights!

While there are many Indian restaurants to try in the Twin Cities, this one is one of the best. The food was fantastic! Highly recommend the fish pakora with the mint & cilantro chutney!! The service was also great as well as the speed at which the food came out. I will be coming back again.

Spice & Tonic is officially me and my partner’s favorite Indian food spot in town! After our last go-to place changed ownership and changed their menu, we had to find a new place. At the time we were bummed, but now we’re so glad we had to look for a new favorite spot and found Spice & Tonic!! The food is always so delicious and flavorful, and even though we always order for pickup, the staff is so kind and their service is top notch.
We usually order paneer makhani, lamb shahi korma, paneer shahi korma, and the mango lassi is a MUST.
