Stopped by today and this place is not as busy as it should be. Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly, place was clean and the atmosphere was really cool. We will be back! I do wish they had lunch specials, but the food was so good I can’t even hold that against them.

I stopped by this location recently and was pleasantly surprised to see they had opened a new spot. I called ahead to confirm whether it was the same restaurant as the Mesa location, and they confirmed it’s under the same ownership.

The restaurant itself is very clean and nicely decorated, and the staff was attentive and quick to help. The most interesting part for me was the menu. It appears this location has been updated to feature fewer traditional Szechuan-style dishes and instead leans more toward a broader, Americanized Chinese menu. There’s nothing wrong with that, but I was hoping to order some of the dishes I usually get at their Mesa location.

Thankfully, I asked and found out they do still offer items like the Hot & Crispy Chicken Bites (no bone), Dry Red Pepper Fried Fish Fillet, and Ma Po Tofu. The chicken and fish were excellent and full of flavor. The Ma Po Tofu, however, was fairly mild and tasted more like a Chinese-American version than the traditional Szechuan style I was expecting. Next time, I’ll be sure to ask if they can prepare it Szechuan-style.

Overall, I’m happy to have this new location nearby and would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys Chinese food, especially those interested in exploring more authentic options.

I was really excited to try this restaurant since it’s close to our home and the reviews were encouraging. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t meet expectations. Both my boyfriend and I felt unusually bloated after our meal, which was surprising as we regularly eat Chinese food and haven’t had this reaction before.

I ordered the orange chicken, but it consisted mostly of breading with very little chicken, as shown in the photo. After trying to find the protein throughout the dish, I eventually stopped eating. We also ordered the hot and sour soup, which had an odd taste once it cooled. The cheeseburger egg roll was very greasy, and the beef was quite chewy, with a texture that was concerning.

I understand this is a newer location, and it also appeared to be short-staffed for a Friday night. I truly hope some adjustments can be made in the cooking and preparation process, as I believe those improvements could help the restaurant succeed long-term.

I love authentic Chinese! This place is a bit more mild than the Mesa location on the spice but still has all the flavor you’d want. The guy who served us was super nice too. Seemed really excited to get some new customers since they just opened this location. We got the red pepper fish, dumplings in chili oil, pork buns , and beef wraps. Everything was delicious

I was a little skeptical at first, not many Chinese restaurants hold their food quality anymore, but this place completely blew me away with an authentic spice and flavor. We ordered the hunan beef and fish fillet spice; (the fish was my favorite). Staff and service was friendly. Give it a try!

Finally got to try this place since it recently opened in the neighborhood. I really enjoyed my experience to have good Chinese food in the area. The man serving us was very helpful in recommending some dishes that fit our dietary restrictions – we ordered the dry fried green beans, veggie lo mein, hot and crispy chicken bites, pan fried beef buns and shrimp dumplings. The place was clean and welcoming, food was delicious and great portion sizes for two people. I will definitely come back and eat here again.

This place is like 1-2 days new but the food was great and the place is nice. I liked everything I ordered and it will definitely be added to my rotation of places when I eat out in the neighborhood.

I’ve been a big fan of Spice Spirit for years, so I’m thrilled to see them open a second location. The new spot keeps everything I love about the original—great flavors, generous portions, and friendly service—while introducing exciting new dishes for their modern Chinese kitchen concept. The space feels fresh and inviting, and the food is just as incredible as always. So happy to have another Spice Spirit in the Valley!

Stopped by to check out the new place we saw as we were driving by. Even though they won’t be open until tomorrow we were invited inside to get dinner. The staff was exceptional and so kind to let us order food despite not being open yet. And the food itself was absolutely impeccable. The pan fried pork buns were perfectly soft and crispy with a delightful dipping sauce that made everything so light and easy to come back for another bun. The pork wontons were so delicious and served in a wonderful chili sauce. The Perfectly soft wontons were so tasty and so easy to eat. The beef noodle dish was large for the price and so delicious. Perfectly tender beef and bouncy noodles. The broth itself was so good it was a star in a sea of them. All the food was so light and filling without feeling heavy. Definitely a place to stop in and check out if you want good food and good people. We will absolutely be back tomorrow for their first opening day.

It’s been awhile since a chinese restaurant has gotten “spicy” down. i got shrimp lo mein and asked them to make it spicy and it was perfect—the noodles, the heat, and especially the shrimp

the place is very clean and in nice condition. the only non-positive thing i could think of was how quiet it was. some consistent background music would be nice, that way it’s not so easy to hear conversations. other than that, the service, food, and atmosphere was great!
