This place was such a surprise and the best decision to end our Colorado trip with Indian food. The food was excellent. Service was quick and it was full. The ambiance felt like 90’s indian restaurant

We ordered lasooni Gobi (amazing),kurkuri bhindi, Samosa chat for appitizers and it was delicious.

For the main course, we ordered achari aloo, katahal (jackfruit) fry, and baigan bharta all three were delicious. The naan was super soft. The pulav for kids was great too.

We ended our meal with gulab jamun -there are 3 in one order and our server gave us 4 since there were four of them on the table. He saved us from fighting over gulab jamun. We even ordered a shikanji drink and that was refreshing.

Would eat her every day if this place moves opens a restaurant in Hudson valley.

Spice Room absolutely lived up to its name — every bite was bursting with bold, unforgettable flavor! We started with the samosas, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with a spicy, flavorful mix that woke up our taste buds right away. They also brought out complimentary crackers with a variety of sauces — each one unique and delicious (I couldn’t stop dipping!).

For the main course, we had the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, and wow — both were incredible. The sauces were rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, and the chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. The jalapeño & cheese naan and garlic naan were the perfect sides — soft, warm, and just the right amount of indulgent.

To top it all off, I had a mango lassi that was thick, creamy, and just heavenly — easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere.

Yes, the wait was a bit long, both to be seated and for the food to arrive, but once everything hit the table, it was well worth it. The quality, flavor, and attention to detail made it an outstanding dining experience.

I finally made it into Spice Room after so many recommendations and it did not disappoint. The butter chicken and cheese naan I got were delicious! The mango lassi was the best I’ve had. I strongly recommend Spice Room!

I absolutely love the spice room. I come here every time I want Indian cuisine. I will say, service can be hit or miss, but it has never been horrible. On their worst day, I’d say service is a 3/5.
The atmosphere is great, but I always prefer the booths as the wooden chairs can be uncomfortable after a while (nothing crazy though).
The food is so lovely. I suggest the Buttered Chicken and give it a 10/10. It is always something to get, and is good regardless of spice level (they offer Mild, Medium, Hot. Sometimes they’ll offer a spice level of 1-5).
I also love the Honey Curry (rated a 9/10). I prefer it as a Mild or Medium spice but could be good as a Hot!
Some runner-ups would have to be their Korma and Tikka Masala. Those two are best as Hot in my opinion but are good with less spice too!
For appetizers I recommend the Garlic Cheese Naan and their Appetizer Platter.
Their Mango Lassi drink is also quite good! It is like a mango-yogurt smoothie almost.
My favorite is dipping the Garlic Cheese Naan in the Buttered Chicken sauce!! Ahh I love this place.

The ONLY bad thing would be that it’s on colfax haha. With that comes construction and not the best parking options.

It was full of white ppl so we were skeptical at the beginning but neverthless it was amazing. We loved garlic naan and lamb makhani. The spicyness is on white ppl’s scale. So to taste something you gotta atleast do medium. Chicken tika masalan was ok but again we fall victim to their spice level and ordered mild, which was completely bland. The only issue at the time of our visit was that the whole resturant was filled with a grease smell and we had our eyes burning. They need a better hvac/hood system

Undoubtedly one of the Top 3 best Indian Restaurants in Denver . Besides the perfect execution of every single dish we had (5 dishes including dessert) – one thing that really stands out here is the amazingly curated menu.

The detailed descriptions on menu options that make every single dish seem incredibly enticing. If you or any loved ones have been reluctant to try Indian Cuisine.. there’s no better intro in then a seat at Spice Room.

This is our second experience with the spice room. The first time we visited Denver there were no reservations and we waited 45 min for takeout which was totally worth it. This time we reserved in advance and again were not disappointed. Pani puri, yellow dal, butter chicken, naan, biryani…all amazing. The service was excellent. Will continue to make this a go to spot for every visit to Denver.

Was ok. Wasn’t blown away. Himalayan curry and kabob in Loveland is better imho. Service was ok here. Some items were forgotten. Food didn’t have as much flavor as Himalayan. I guess when a bar is set high it’s hard to beat. I do like the fact they have more options for naan. The onion and cheese was delicious.

Saya was the best server! Her personality and energy are contagious from the moment she comes to the table. She helped us with everything and was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu. Her recommendations were spot-on and really elevated our experience. She made us feel welcomed, taken care of, and genuinely excited to be there. This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had, and a big reason was Saya.
