Every time I come here, the food is consistently delicious. Keep up the amazing work and keep giving me reasons to return to Mechanicsburg for this fantastic Nepali food!
Food came in good time and portions, I had goat curry which was amazing, the bones were still left on which is so authentic. The other curries we tried weren’t as flavourful and explosive in spice or taste, but were all fairly rich. We got a lamb coconut curry, a green pea curry and chicken curry. Please Ask for more spice!!
I’m not sure why, but the guy gave us some complimentary naan, which was delightful both in gesture and taste! For about 20 bucks a person. It’s authentic Indian-Nepali food.
There are bar elements and the place does feel a bit dreary, but overall it wasn’t that bad.
Overall super solid food and phenomenal service. Recommended! Techmo Seal of Approval!! And please, don’t come to an Indian restaurant and get non Indian food like chicken Chow Mein – looking at you buddy.
Tonight, my wife and I went with three other couples and had a great time. It’s so good to be able to laugh with others over great food!
Since it was a Monday night, we had the place mostly to ourselves (there was one table with another couple nearby–I hope we were not too loud).
From memory, our orders included Mutter Paneer, Butter Chicken, Chicken Coconut Curry, Chana Masala, Chicken Saag, a wide variety of Naan, and a few servings of Gulab Jamun to finish on a sweet note.
My only regret is that we didn’t pay attention to the specials board. We saw it on our way out. Had I seen it earlier, I would have ordered the Buffalo Momo. Right above that was Aloo Jeera (spelling?). Ordered it to go, and had some as soon as I got home. Had my wife not given me “the look,” I would have finished the whole thing. So good!
Our server was kind and engaging–she heard us talking about music and jumped right in. She then put on a great song from the artist we’d just been talking about.
Before leaving, we had a great conversation with one of the owners, then he introduced is to one of the other owners. Both were very friendly, gracious, and kind.
Love the food here, and love the people!
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of music and lighting to make for a relaxed evening. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. It’s clear they care about both the food and their guests.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Indian & Nepali flavors, great drinks, and genuine hospitality. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to soon.
What really stood out was the professionalism and kindness of the owners. They were so respectful and attentive throughout our visit. Even after closing time, they patiently waited for us to finish our meal and enjoy our drinks without rushing us at all. That level of hospitality is rare these days and truly appreciated.
Highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys great Nepali and Indian cuisine with excellent service, cleanliness, and genuine care for customers. We’ll definitely be coming back!
