Chicken Thukpa is absolutely incredible here, tender chicken pieces, perfectly cooked noodles, and a rich, aromatic broth with just the right blend of spices at medium heat. It’s honestly the perfect cure after a long night out.

Every time I come here, the food is consistently delicious. Keep up the amazing work and keep giving me reasons to return to Mechanicsburg for this fantastic Nepali food!

This was is sooooo Good OMG I can’t even describe just how delicious this is except to say They have a customer for life! I was late with the pic I already started eating but this is so good

9/10. We came early around 5pm, group of 5. Only one male Nepali server was there. Greeted with nothing but utmost friendliness and excitement – he loved sharing his nations food with us.

Food came in good time and portions, I had goat curry which was amazing, the bones were still left on which is so authentic. The other curries we tried weren’t as flavourful and explosive in spice or taste, but were all fairly rich. We got a lamb coconut curry, a green pea curry and chicken curry. Please Ask for more spice!!

I’m not sure why, but the guy gave us some complimentary naan, which was delightful both in gesture and taste! For about 20 bucks a person. It’s authentic Indian-Nepali food.

There are bar elements and the place does feel a bit dreary, but overall it wasn’t that bad.

Overall super solid food and phenomenal service. Recommended! Techmo Seal of Approval!! And please, don’t come to an Indian restaurant and get non Indian food like chicken Chow Mein – looking at you buddy.

This place is the real Nepali/Indian deal. Huge menu and everything we tried was excellent. GOAT biryani and paneer and naan were great. Very good people and fun vibe on the weekend. Authentic, AUTHENTIC food. You can get things very spicy if you really want too. Must try if you like spices and a specific type

I’ve been eating at Spice (or ordering takeout) since they first opened, and I’ve simply NEVER had a bad experience.

Tonight, my wife and I went with three other couples and had a great time. It’s so good to be able to laugh with others over great food!

Since it was a Monday night, we had the place mostly to ourselves (there was one table with another couple nearby–I hope we were not too loud).

From memory, our orders included Mutter Paneer, Butter Chicken, Chicken Coconut Curry, Chana Masala, Chicken Saag, a wide variety of Naan, and a few servings of Gulab Jamun to finish on a sweet note.

My only regret is that we didn’t pay attention to the specials board. We saw it on our way out. Had I seen it earlier, I would have ordered the Buffalo Momo. Right above that was Aloo Jeera (spelling?). Ordered it to go, and had some as soon as I got home. Had my wife not given me “the look,” I would have finished the whole thing. So good!

Our server was kind and engaging–she heard us talking about music and jumped right in. She then put on a great song from the artist we’d just been talking about.

Before leaving, we had a great conversation with one of the owners, then he introduced is to one of the other owners. Both were very friendly, gracious, and kind.

Love the food here, and love the people!

Visted this restaurant while i was around the area. They offered me a special menu item which was the mutton tass and it was incredible. I am incredibly impressed by their hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone around who happens to be around the area. I definitely think you wouldn’t regret visiting.

We have been ordering from Bollywood in Hummelstown since it opened, but then it closed unexpectedly. Decided to give Spice a try since it had decent reviews. Probably the first and last time. My favorite food in the world is saag paneer/palak paneer. I’ve had it from probably 30 different restaurants and always loved it. The saag paneer from Spice was the worst I’ve ever had. This is supposed to be a spinach dish – every time I’ve had it, it’s been green. Because it’s literally spinach (palak can be other greens, but still green). This was just orange, and all you could taste was cumin. It was almost like saag paneer without the spinach. The garlic naan was not the lovely fluffy buttery naan most restaurants have – it was more like a firmer flatbread and was devoid of flavor, including garlic. My husband got aloo gobi and said it was “fine,” but not great. The one positive was the heat level – I got medium and my husband got hot and the heat level was perfect for both of us. I guess we’ll continue to look for somewhere as good as Bollywood was.

The food at this Indian/Nepali restaurant and bar was absolutely fantastic. Every dish was full of flavor, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. The butter chicken was tender and rich, and the naan came out hot and fresh. The cocktails from the bar were creative and well balanced—great choices to pair with the meals.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of music and lighting to make for a relaxed evening. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. It’s clear they care about both the food and their guests.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Indian & Nepali flavors, great drinks, and genuine hospitality. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to soon.

Everything was great. The experience, the service, the food. We asked for recommendations since we don’t often eat Indian food. The server did not steer us wrong. When we told them we don’t do Indian often because of a kid with food allergies, they even started telling us what foods do or don’t have that specific allergen in it. This way we could attempt to bring our kid there in the future. I’d highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be going back.

We had an amazing experience at this Nepali-Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and perfectly prepared. There was no long wait for the food, which made the experience even better. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable.
What really stood out was the professionalism and kindness of the owners. They were so respectful and attentive throughout our visit. Even after closing time, they patiently waited for us to finish our meal and enjoy our drinks without rushing us at all. That level of hospitality is rare these days and truly appreciated.
Highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys great Nepali and Indian cuisine with excellent service, cleanliness, and genuine care for customers. We’ll definitely be coming back!
