I went in today 11/02/2025 ticket number 15. I ordered vegan Mostaccioli and fried okra. I’ve been a vegan for 3 years and it was good just could have been better. I’ve never had Mostaccioli that was never baked. It was so watery I just got crackers and ate some like it was soup. The fried okra was good, fresh and hot. I came all the way from North Carolina and saw a video saying to try this. The inside was lovely, smelled amazing from the fall decor. The reason I gave it 3 stars because no one greeted me, said hello. The only thing that was said to me was “am I ticket number 15”. Seeing it was my first time I was expecting some interactions and I had a few questions but all I had was a kiosk. I would try it again if I’m ever back in town.

I just wanted to say your hands are your gift. God has truly anointed them for cooking such delicious food. Our guests loved everything. They raved over the greens and cornbread. It was amazing to see people go back for seconds and even the captain on the yacht came down for some good ole fried chicken twice! One of our friends wanted to know your location for an event. I wish there was a business card in the bag. Nevertheless, I told her where she could go.
Bottom line… they could not stop talking about how good the food was.
Everything was fresh and seasoned to perfection.

My first time in Chicago and I wanted to give a local business a try. Customer service was top notch and the owner was very gracious. You must give them a try when in town. The portions are larger than most!! It’s a must try and they make a vegan and regular greens, both shown in picture.

My husband and I had the best experience! We ordered our food and when it was ready, the owner came and greeted us with a smile. The table was not only decorative but it was clean. I love the vegan greens, okra, red beans w/ rice and fried corn! After nibbling in my husband plate, I had to grab an order of Mostaccioli to go! We will be back soon!
