I had a very disappointing experience with Spice of Punjab today. We ordered chicken curry, and the first container they gave us was leaking badly. I asked them to replace it, and even the second container still leaked all over the bag. By the time we reached home, the curry had completely soaked through and made a huge mess.
It ruined my mom’s clothes and even stained the car seat, even though she held it carefully the whole way. I’ve attached photos showing how the curry leaked right through the packaging.
When I called the restaurant to let them know and suggest they improve their container quality, instead of apologizing or offering any help, they just put me on hold and never came back to the phone. That was extremely unprofessional.
I hope they seriously improve their packaging and customer service, because this was a terrible experience and a lot of unnecessary inconvenience for us.

The interior of this restaurant is very nicely done. We went early evening and it was quiet. Food was great. Had garlic nans with coconut lamb, pawn vindaloo and egg plant. Perfect combination.

We come here once in a while for take out, and order samosas, and it is definitely worth the drive from North Van. They make them to order, and they always come out hot and fresh, and definitely very tasty. They are well priced and are a nice size, and well worth the money. The staff here are also very nice and pleasant, and they are always great to deal with.

We went in around 11 this morning for breakfast. Unfortunately, the staff was very unfriendly — cashier looked us up and down and gave us weird looks. This isn’t the first time either; it’s actually the third time she has behaved this way with us. She seems unwelcoming and unwilling to serve, which makes the experience unpleasant. The food itself is good and reasonably priced, but the service really takes away from the overall experience. Better customer service could definitely help this place grow. As someone who also works in customer service, I know this kind of attitude would not be acceptable anywhere else, especially that early in the morning when customers are just trying to enjoy a meal.

I’ll suggest the owner to at least schedule more employees so that they can make orders on time. I ordered and had to wait for 50 minutes for my $50 worth of order, when they said that the order will be ready in 30 minutes for pickup. I am just not happy with their waiting time. I was on my break of 30 minutes and scheduled the order accordingly. Either don’t take the order or tell the customer the exact time.

Ordered amritsari kulche and veg pakoras. Kulcha tasted little sour.. Pakoras were packed in sweets box that made the pakoras soggy. The carrot pickle offered with food were bland tasteless.The pricing didnt met my expectation. One time experience is enough for me
