Yes the food was great. One huge problem though. This is the biggest scam for food I have ever come across. There is no reason why these small containers come out to be 20+ dollars. Absolute disrespect. I advise everyone never to order delivery. They will rob you. I am amazed that this happened and the total for this was 76 dollars. That’s a big meal at a restaurant with 2 other people. Do not come here.

We were not disappointed! What a delightful experience. The service was excellent, and they helped us out with recommendations when we asked. The food was delicious, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We will have to come back and try more of the menu at some point for sure.

Spice Mantra is a real gem in Katy! Every time I go, the food is just consistently delicious. It’s like a warm hug of South Indian flavors, reminding me of the food I grew up eating back home. Their evening snacks and appetizers are a must-try. I’ve been there multiple times, and I’m always impressed. We went for their Valentine’s Day buffet, and it was fantastic! Recently, I had the Rajahmundry Special Chicken Fry Piece Biryani, and wow! It was incredible. It tasted just like the biryani you get in India. I also really enjoyed the evening snacks, which are perfect for a quick, flavorful bite. Beyond the amazing food, the service at Spice Mantra is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of authentic South Indian cuisine.

Recently, I visited Spice Manthra and had Telangana Kodi Keema Curry with fresh rotis. It tasted very good! For those who like spicy food, I would highly recommend this restaurant. I also tried a starter, Paneer 555, which was very tasty. The paneer was soft, and the spices were rich in flavor. Anyone looking to try Indian food in Cinco Ranch should definitely visit Spice Manthra—it’s the best!

The hubby said he was in the mood for Indian food at 9:00pm. I quickly looked up places that were open and found this place to be relatively close. We ordered a bunch of things. Service was great- our server took the time to answer questions and make recommendations. Food was fresh and in good quantity. The palak paneer was very good. The parottas were flaky and buttery soft. Will be back to try the other dishes!

Not even meeting the standards to even review about food when we have such a competitive list of restaurant options in Katy area. Better think twice before going there. Short staffed, not enough quantity to meet the order but without any hesitation they will take the order. Poor choice and waste of money.

I ordered chicken biryani, and was not prepared to be hit with one of the most, if not the most well-spiced biriyani I have ever had. The flavor is out of this world. I will come back to try other dish, but I’m seriously impressive with their use of spice.
