Enjoyed their lunch buffet today for the first time and had an excellent experience! The food was delicious! You open the door and it smells amazing–and it tasted just as great as it smelled! The place was easy to access in a plaza with parking directly in front and seemed wheelchair accessible. It was airy, open, clean, and it has bright colorful murals for decorations on the walls (see pics). The staff was incredibly attentive and very helpful. We quickly realized that there was nothing besides rice for our autistic toddler to eat and our server kindly had cucumber slices cut for her, decorated with the cutest plastic sword that delighted us all. Such a clean and crisp buffet too, perfectly organized with signs clearly labeling everything, easily the cleanest Indian buffet I’ve ever seen. Given the deliciousness of the food on the buffet, I’m confident you will not be disappointed in anything off the menu. If I had any suggestions, it would be to add ice for the water served and to add Gulab Jamun as an additional dessert offering (but really because I love them lol!). Absolutely will be back! 🙂

Good Indian restaurant near Clifton park,NY. Food is delicious and great wait staff. Ambiance is nice and neat. Food service is fast. Must try if you are in that try. We tried spinach kofta and panner masala and both are delicious. Naan bread is well done too.

Excellent food. To top it off the personal touch of the owner was excellent. Food was beyond excellent and quantity was good. We had come to visit lake George and came to this restaurant to celebrate one of our friend birthday. We will come again and recommend this place to our family and friends. Owner Nitin was really approachable and friendly. Service was also very good

Last night was my 2nd time here in a week after never having Indian Food my whole life. I loved the spicy options, the customer service is fantastic -the owner Nadine is great! He was very helpful in ensuring my Tree Nut Allergy and Gluten Allergies were notated for the chef. Also, went once with 3 kids and they were really accommodating for all of their requests. I highly recommend a visit here. Don’t let the fact that it is in a “strip mall” fool you – the inside is great atmosphere and authentic cuisine! Photo is of my favorite dish CHICKEN CHETTINADU (leftovers for days!)

The food is just outstanding. The buffet had such a huge variety, I couldn’t eat it all. I’m going back to try what I didn’t and then start all over again. I joked with a staff that I broke my diet but the food was fresh and healthy, it didn’t feel like I did so much damage! I had dessert too but the portions were super tiny. 2 tablespoons because I wanted to try so bad but I was stuffed! So no pics but there will be next time! The 2 pics I posted – I just threw a tiny bit of what I could get. And believe me there was so much more.

Food is not that good, items doesn’t taste good. Service also is a bit late, but staff are really polite, chicken kababs taste good, malay kabab tastes ok,not much great, do not expect much taste in south indian food.

Good food and portions are pretty big. One entree is good for a person.

Spice Malabar is the best restaurant I’ve had the pleasure of dining at…ever. That may sound like hype, it is not. From Tony’s greeting to his, “See you soon!”, it was an exquisit experience.
