Such an amazing meal at Spice Lounge. Great service! We were mainly served by Hassan, him and everyone else were very hospitable and welcoming. The food was sensational! We had the garlic chilli lamb and the lamb madras with keema rice and garlic naan. We are not from the area but would love to come back some day.

We tried the banquet night tonight. A starter, main course, rice or Nan, side for 15.95. The food was excellent. Tried dishes that were new to me. I need mild dishes and sometimes they aren’t. Tried a new lamb dish that was lovely and Hasan and his team looked after us very well. Highly recommended.

We visited this amazing restaurant on a short stay whilst visiting Stroud and what a find,absolutely one of the best Indian restaurants I have been in.The first thing was the decor and furniture it’s looks very nice, the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble, the Manager Ayman is very good at his job and extremely welcoming,giving great advice about the dishes on offer, explaining the ingredients. Great service plays a big part in the overall experience. The food is exceptional and cooked by someone that knows his trade. I highly recommend this place.

Ordered delivery from their website. Had a snag with delivery which was entirely our own fault. The driver was very nice. The food was absolutely delicious and at a better value than the average indian takeaway. We will definitely be ordering from them again!

I live in Bristol and recently went on holiday in Stroud with my friend Nahid, who recommended having dinner at Spice Lounge Restaurant. We decided to try it, and it was absolutely worth it! The food was mouthwatering, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. The service was top-class — the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

I highly recommend Spice Lounge to anyone looking for a great dining experience. You won’t be disappointed!

I went for the Banquet special – such an amazing deal! The service was so brilliant.. I’ve never been to a restaurant where people have been so attentive and friendly before. The food was very good value for money with good portion sizes and we couldn’t finish it! Really yummy and authentic. Thank you to Hassan for being a lovely waiter.

Had to stop at stroud on my way, was surprised seeing a few Indian cuisine choices, choose Spice Lounge, 3 of us got in- got warm welcome, very well organised interior ambience with desi music, had fantastic desi drinks and courses- mind blowing taste, awesome service throughout our dinner, must mention- Hassan, head waiter probably : mr humble and he knows his job very well Magnet part? All in a very low cost, we ate stomach full. Wish I could visit again and again. All the best for Spice Lounge

We’ve been loyal customers of Spice Lounge in Stroud for over two years and have ordered the Chicken Jaipuri many times (at least a dozen takeaways and twice dining in). Normally, this would be a 5-star review without hesitation.

Unfortunately, tonight’s Jaipuri was very disappointing. The sauce was completely different from what we’re used to. It had the consistency and flavour of a generic, jar-style Chinese sauce rather than the usual rich Punjabi masala, which is normally slightly sweetened and full of depth. It simply didn’t taste authentic or recognisable as the dish we regularly order.

We hope this was just an off night, as consistency is what keeps loyal customers coming back and it’s also how restaurants risk losing them.

I visited on a Sunday evening and so was able to take advantage of the special offer for £14.95 – starter, main, side, plus rice/naan (also available on Wednesdays). The quality of the food was excellent, so I can highly recommend this place.
Total bill for the meal and a pint of beer was just £20 (plus a tip) so it’s a bargain!
