* Garlic naan was one of the best we ever had.
* excellent vegetarian options – one of the few restaurants to have vegetarian vindaloo
* chicken masala, wings were fantastic
* mango Lassi – house made, thick and flavorful
* chocolate Samosa – do not miss. Along with the pista
Portion sizes and pricing was good too.
Service and hospitality was fantastic.
If you are in the area – do not miss
The curry fries were a great starter app. Went with the chicken masala clay oven dish, papadum?, and garlic naan w/ mint chutney (a must). Lastly, we had chai (tea) to digest it all, accompanied by a couple donut holes (a delicacy that melts in your mouth).
This place has been around for more than a decade and it continues to impress me.
1. Clean washroom and clean kitchen
2. Mild volume music played (80’s hindi songs)
3. Very very homely food ( NO food colour or too much cream and oil) it tasted just like home cooked food.
4. Amazing hospitality and very timely service . The girl was very humble and sweet.
5. The owner is very kind and made us things not on menu too since we said it’s for the kid.
6. Mango lassi is the best .. No food colour or too much sugar…just perfect.
Overall we felt so relaxed and had complete satisfaction of having great food and ambience.
In addition to Happy Hour, Spice Lounge offers daily specials, our favorites being Meatless Mondays ($11 vegetarian/vegan dishes) and Tuesday Treats (buy one entree get one half off). With quality food at an amazing price and excellent service, you can’t go wrong with Spice Lounge.
Nice place!
