This spot is a GEM! Some of the best west african food I have ever had. The flavor profile is elite and literally you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I’m so glad I got to finally check them out! Me and my sister visited the new location in Canton and baby we were blown away! 10s across the board
The ambience is beautiful inside and the customer service was stellar, everyone was super nice. D was super nice and treated us so good!

Literally everything I tried (almost half the menu lol) was delicious but my favs: lamb chops, wings & goat eggrolls ‍

Run don’t walk!! Go support a black owned business, your tastebuds will love you for it

My wife and I had lunch here on a Sunday. We were greeted warmly as we made our order and all questions we had were answered in a friendly and amiable manner. The staff showed real appreciation for our business and went out of their way to make sure everything was good with us.

The food was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. I had the lamb chops and my wife had the steak plate. We both had the spinach, I had the rice and stew with Plantains, she had the Jollof Rice with Plantains. Everything was delicious. Perfectly seasoned and prepared.

The restaurant is beautifully appointment with images and patterns of Africa and it’s painted in a beautiful dark orange.

Truly an extraordinary dining experience.

I also grabbed the Goat Eggrolls to go. Fantastic.

This meal was honestly delicious. The suya beef and chicken were well-seasoned, smoky, and full of flavor and had a nice kick to it. You could taste that classic suya seasoning in every bite, and the meat was tender and cooked just right to perfection.

The jollof rice was also rich and flavorful, just how good jollof should be. It wasn’t dry, and it had that familiar taste like it was made in someone’s home. The plantains were sweet, soft, and perfectly fried, which balanced out the spices from the suya and jollof really well. I will definitely come again whenever I am on that side of town.

Nice food, very tasty and well seasoned. Less one star for a tad bit of attitude from a male server. Also they serve dine in food in paper containers, reduces the ambiance. Will try again the jollof was banging and I loved the spicy spinach.

Update 2/19- on the self serve kiosk, please have an option of “no suya spice” for the wings or a comment field elsewhere so customers can indicate not wanting the suya spice added

I have been watching this particular restaurant on Instagram for a while so I took the opportunity to stop by. I was only interested in trying the wings as a Wings connoisseur myself. As soon as I took a bite I knew I was in trouble and most of my wing money was going to be going to the restaurant moving forward. The only reason I’m taking a star off is because my order of 10 wings only consisted of one drum and the rest were flats. You should at least provide half and half of each kind. I’m not a fan of flats. However, I will say, that the wings were so fire that it did not matter and I ate every morsel and left only bones lmao. Omg! One additional suggestion would be to also offer blue cheese dressing as well as Ranch. Next time, I I think I’d prefer to have the wings without the suya spice sprinkled on it

I ordered the jollof rice with chicken suya and beef suya. The food was very good flavorful and well prepared and the delivery was fast. However, my drink was missing from the order. Overall, a great meal, but please double-check items before delivery.

Ordered steak and lamb suya. The steak was not well done and smelled funny, it was not smoky. Out of the 3 lamb chops, their was only two, the third chop was pork. Chicken wings were bomb, very good. Plantains were perfect. Corn was burnt. Service was great. In my opinion, as in the first Spice Kithen spot in Hyattsville, the steak suya should have more of a well cooked, smoky dry spice flavor.

I see a lot of reviews saying it’s too pricey. The price is completely justified in the quantity and quality of the food in my opinion. The corn is AMAZING. I will definitely be back.

Been here twice. The guy at the front counter is ALWAYS welcoming and helpful. The bartender is awesome as well. Everyone that works here are always welcoming. No attitudes just smiles and good service. The food is relishes, had the shrimp, lamb, and chicken wing platter with efiro, plantains, and Jollof. The best Jollof in Baltimore! Prices are decent food is always hot. The restrooms are always clean. The dining section is always clean. Keep up the good work! I will be back for more!
