Established in 2018, Spice Kitchen is owned and operated by a family that has been in the hospitality business for decades. Executive Chef and Owner, Sanjay Verma, brings 20+ years of experience in food and beverage industry. Spice Kitchen is his vision and a dream come true. He wants the community to experience authentic North-Indian cuisine as well as fusion dishes that combine traditional flavors with contemporary. Our food is fresh, aromatic, and tasty. We’ve been to Spice Kitchen many times as a couple and with family and friends. The meal is always fantastic and the staff is friendly. They take time to know your taste and suggest dishes accordingly, if you ask. All their recommendations have come out to be excellent. Their non-veg sizzler is one of our favorites. Fish tikka and tandoori chicken are awesome!
Wonderful service, great atmosphere and awesome flavors makes this place the best Indian restaurant in Tampa Bay area.

I’m glad I decided to spend a rainy Wednesday evening as a first visit to Spice Kitchen.
I am not new to Indian food, now Indian cuisine it’s another story, and I feel like they are actually pretty darn awesome at what they do. I’m sure there’s always room for improvement like anywhere else but the food was very freshly made and flavorful

It was nice to visit back, although service was slightly subpar compared to the first time I visited. Still the food was pretty awesomely tasty

My review and pics appear to be missing from June 9th but I’ll repost from what I can remember.
We went literally on their 2nd day of being open but the people, service, and food we’re great. We got a Mango Lassi, Black Lentil Soup, Garlic Naan, and Lamb Seekh Kebab. We don’t get to eat Indian often but everything was great quality with good presentation. Prices are reasonable and just about right.

They were voted best in 2021 and I know why. The food is so delicious. We had several apps, 2 different naan’s and a variety of main dishes. We had a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed their meals. They had a bottled wine special that included a white and a red which was good for our group. They do a fantastic job with their sauces and naan and they are so friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was very clean. The ambience was nice. The food tasted good (for someone like me who has never been to India). The server needed more training as she didn’t know any question that we asked. Even though she got us the answer, it did take away from the overall experience and therefore the 4 stars instead of 5. I would go back to this restaurant again and recommend others to try.

My client and friend is a vegetarian, I eat meat. We both love ethnic food. We wanted to go to dinner together. So I suggested Indian food and Googled Indian restaurants in the area. Spice Kitchen was right around the corner from my salon Christopher Nejman Hair, to my surprise.
The restaurant atmosphere is modern and very comfortable. Jayni, our waitress was an angel.
Long story short, the first bite from the wafer bread to our main dish was full of amazing seasonings that awoke every sense on your tongue. WOW!
I tasted my friend’s vegetarian dish and truthfully, if I ordered her dish for myself I would not even miss any meat. That is how amazing the texture and flavor was.
I ordered the lamb curry. Jayni had asked me how I want it seasoned- mild, hot, etc. . I told her I want to feel it but I do not want to burn my mouth.
It was perfect. The lamb melted in my mouth and the heat was just enough to give my tongue a tingle without any burning sensation.
My friend and I had both said this possibly was one of the best dishes we have ever eaten!

The food is excellent, providing great variation in their food and beautiful presentation. I ordered the chicken curry, garlic/cheese nan, and butter chicken. every single item was delicious, and the waitress was very helpful when choosing them! I did not get dessert as they have great portions and I was full.
**I did wish more rice came with the dishes though! Hope to see that in the future**
My waitress, Sasha, made my entire experience at this restaurant. She had me laughing all night, was VERY ATTENTIVE as i needed water every 5 minutes, and made us feel very valued as customers!
I highly recommend this restaurant for a fine dining night out and a great experience.

Wow Wow Wow! Honestly do yourself a favor and just Go! By far the best Indian food I have ever had. The vibe was nice and the service was excellent. Went for my husbands birthday, a party of 8, everyone raved about their food. Brad was our server, he was hilarious and so quick! If you don’t like your food too spicy that’s fine, they let you rate your spiciness level 1-5. I had 3 and that was perfect for me. We will be regulars! I wish I had more pictures, next time I will post more! Thank you Spice kitchen for an incredible evening! And thank you Brad!!!
