Our server Terry was excellent. She was attentive, checked on us often, kept us updated, and made sure we had everything we needed. She really did a great job and was one of the reasons the experience stayed pleasant.
However, the overall vibe and service from the host staff wasn’t the best. A man was seated in a booth next to us, and shortly after sitting down the host came back and told him he would have to move because they needed the table and thought he would sit at the bar. It came off very rude and awkward since he had already been seated. Later two people were seated in that same booth, so it was confusing why one person couldn’t sit there but two could.
The place also felt like it attracted more of an older crowd than expected, and it didn’t really have the lounge vibe it appears to have on social media. The hookah wasn’t good at all, and overall the atmosphere didn’t feel like somewhere I’d rush back to.
Overall: crab legs and drinks were good, and Terry was a great server, but the vibe and experience didn’t quite match what’s portrayed online.

The only negatives were the parking and seating. Parking was $15 and the parking lot can quickly fill up during busy hours. The seating was very tight, leading to my chair being bumped several times. However, our waitress offered to change our seating for more room.
Overall the experience was nice.
I had jerk chicken pasta (Rasta pasta) and sides, and everything hit exactly how it should. Smoky, spicy, tender, and full of that real Caribbean flavor you hope for but don’t always get. Portions were huge, prices were fair, and the food came out hot and fast even with a group order.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the vibe felt laid back but confident, like they know their food speaks for itself. If you’re in Midtown and craving legit Jamaican/Caribbean food, this place is an easy recommendation. I’ll definitely be back.
First, I must compliment the chicken! Who new usually boring chicken could be exotic !? The best jerk chicken we have ever had. Also , had to try the red snapper, seasoned to perfection, crispy outside, fluffy inside, served with a sauce, so much fun to eat as well.
This place has really good vibe, good music, drinks and every person was extremely nice and friendly.
I will come back !
The food was absolutely delicious and worth the price. I ate off 4 plates and appetizer. Everything was seasoned well and hearty.
The service from the hostesses to the waiter was polite and patient.
I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and I’ll be back!
*Valet parking was $10*
Cons: you have to pay $10 for valet or for you can self pay for same price. I almost left just because of that 🙁
Service is decent, but not personable. Probably because the gratuity is already added to your bill.
Reservations are recommended, or you will probably have a bit of a wait.
I ordered the oxtail dip, which was good and the wonton chips were delish but dip was full of thick cheese that cooled quickly and became thick. I also had the Rasta pasta with blackened salmon. Both over seasoned and the salmon was pretty salty, Sadly I could taste my blood pressure rising.
The pasta sauce had good flavor but was pretty loose in texture, I’m sure overnight in the fridge will firm that right up!
Would I try again? …maybe for the live music and drinks but it not high on my list to return or recommend.
