Cool patio and ambiance, especially at night. The pastas were good but I wouldn’t seek them out. I found the staff to be very accommodating and everyone seemed to serve our table which made things very efficient.

My son saved my life while we were enjoying family dinner OMG. Yeah I started choking of meat and had to tap my son to get his attention because the table was full and the atmosphere was crowed and loud. The food was great though! I came out alive! This place is $$$

Delicious Italian food with good accommodations for gluten free diets. Outdoor patio with good privacy/separation from the road, and lots of free parking nearby. Service was friendly and helpful, and comfy benches for large groups to sit together.

Small cozy place with friendly and attentive staff! As a transplant from the east coast, it’s a little more difficult to find quality Italian restaurants here with homemade pasta dishes. Speranza definitely stands out as one of the best options in LA!

Food was fine, service was pleasant, but they added an 18% service fee on the bill, without prior mention, and it is NOT gratuity. If they’d like to pay their employees a higher wage and cover the cost of inflation, they might want to consider adjusting their pricing to cover these costs rather than adding a surprise fee to their patrons at the end of their meal. Bad policy.

This restaurant is so good that I fantasize about it when I’m not in L.A. I ask my sister who lives near the restaurant if shes been recently, and she always has. And I am always jealous when she goes. I would move to L.A just for this place. I cannot say enough that when I’m here, the food just magically whisks me away up to a plateau of peace and tranquility. It’s an absolute must whenever I’m in the area.

Unbelievably horrible experience here. My daughter and her friends were forced to wait 2 hours for a special dinner last night, while tables all around them were seated after they had arrived and still served food before anyone in my daughter’s group. These are very well-behaved young women, and every customer in that place is forced to pay a mandatory 18% gratuity. So if the servers or management were profiling them as potentially bad young tippers, that’s not even possible. This was a special celebration dinner that was flat out ruined by an openly unwelcoming business.
