Went to Omaha for a business trip. First time there and decided to visit and eat a “Omaha” steak. My companion and I chose Spencer’s because we wanted something special as a treat. We ordered steaks me the New York strip her the boneless ribeye both medium with a salted and pepper crust. Mine arrived charred and well done. Her’s was perfect. Our waiter asked if everything was OK and I said no that my steak was not medium he says oh there’s a little pink there. Mind you my juices are brown on the plate and my companion are pink. He returned to get me another steak and the middle was the only pink part of the steak and the manager or whomever the female was that came to let me know that it would be out shortly never inquired as to what the issue was or made any effort to find out. Our waiter tried to make it better by offering a free chocolate dessert. Overall the drinks were good and the salad was delicious, but if this is the treatment for a $100 dollar per person meal… thanks but no thanks Omaha.

For a restaurant that sees itself as a premier place for steaks ( and priced as if they are) it falls short. Not many customers in dining room that night. Service very attentive…bordering on too much…lots of server life events and stories were heard. His suggestions some sides were big enough for 6 was nice.
However my recommended Manhattan strip steak was a lot if bone and sinuew and not much meat. Not all that flavorful Asparagus significantly over cooked. Basic steak toppings like aujus should not have to be purchased. Wedge salad only OK. Lots of toppings but the very best restaurants infuse the dressing into the wedge. Thus wedge just had dressing over top. Bread offering kind if meager and small. Automatic service charge for party of 6 is pretty haughty. Coffee machine was broken…no coffee!

The French onion soup was really solid. Good balance of sweet and savory. Not overly salted like some steak houses. I can tell they used a good stock.
Only minor critique was the bread was soggy already when served and the portion size could be a little bigger.
The cocktails were also good.

Really nice dinner spot. Our server Marissa was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was tentative and very personable! The food was really good. My husband really liked his steak (Filet Mignon, Oscar style). I had the lamb chops, and they were pretty good as well. I was not a big fan of the sauce on the lamb chops, but overall, the lamb was cooked perfectly and tender. We had a great experience and loved the atmosphere.

Got a to-go order of the Mediterranean chicken and Brussel sprouts. The food was good- not amazing- but certainly enjoyable. Unfortunately I assumed that my “seasonal specialty” would be considered an entree (since entrees aren’t a separate category) and come with a side salad, but sadly it did not. My chicken also did not have any kalamata olives. In addition to these omissions, I just don’t feel like what I received lives up to the $54 price tag. On the plus side, the ambiance inside the restaurant seemed nice and the server who helped get my order was very friendly and welcoming.

Marissa was an excellent server. The other staff worked well together. I had the French Onion soup, the Bone in Ribeye, grilled Asparagus and the Apple Pie à la mode. Every dish exceeded my expectations. The kitchen staff seasoned everything perfectly. Added bonus, it was connected to the Hilton I was staying at. *****

Stopped by here after the World Series and it was awesome. Got the Filet and it was perfectly cooked. Pro tip, get the half orders for the sides as their portions are huge and a half order is still plenty for two if not 4 people. They have a great Bourbon selection and make great old fashions.

First, I noticed how pricey everything was. Too expensive for a hotel restaurant. I ordered the meatloaf. The Caesar salad tasted mostly of fish. The snap peas smelled so gross, I couldn’t even bring myself to try one. The mashed potatoes had no flavor. And the meatloaf was worse than my mom’s. Not worth the $40+ that I paid for the meal. I hardly ate any of it.
