Spencer’s is the social hub of Bowling Green. Located right on the main square it’s a favorite spot for students and community members to gather for a meeting, study or hang. Coffee and food are good: it’s not cheap, but you should be expecting that. If you’re visiting BG, Spencer’s OG location is a “must visit”.

This is what a coffee shop should be. Classic, industrial but not overly modern. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. Great place to hang out with friends or simply get work done. Oh and the coffee is great too. You will not be disappointed by visiting here.

Best option in town but not up to par with true speciality coffee. Espresso & drip were satisfying. Nitro was refreshing, but had to ask the barista to remove the ice they had put in it..(?!) Absolutely do not recommend the breakfast bowl. Waffle House would be the better option. The bakery items looked good, but didn’t have any. Very busy place, but didn’t feel pressured to leave working at a table for a few hours.

This is a local favorite with two locations in town. We prefer the Fountain Square location which has more seating, seems more comfortable, but less modern decor. If you are a fan of the Harry Potter movies, the Fountain Square location has a “Leaky Cauldron ” feel to it .
Very courteous staff, they handle a rush efficiently. Seem to cater to any kind of dietary restrictions you might have.

We are visiting Bowling Green and we must have gone to 4-5 different coffee shops in our short stay, this is the best one.
The store is warm and welcoming, love the old brick building and the quaint ambience.
I had my go to Breve Latte, it’s smooth and creamy and delicious. Hubby had the vanilla latte and it doesn’t have the usual chemical after taste that you would get with commercial syrup.

Updated review.. tried the club sandwich and chili soup. Both were excellent choices. Tried a cranberry granola bar as well and it was surprisingly good too!
Spencer’s is a great space to grab a coffee, sit with your laptop, eat, fellowship or just look out the window. I enjoyed my meal and the vibe of the place. My lunch sandwich was pretty good and the Thai lentil soup was fantastic. Lots of pastries to choose from of which I got a chocolate chip cookie that I found kind of dense but was edible. Overall a very nice experience that I recommend giving a try!

I love this place so much.the atmosphere is amazing,they are very friendly ,and the food is delicious and very fairly priced. I had the coffee cake ,the breakfast burrito,and a breakfast sandwhich.all were absolutely delicious and I will be eating here again.they also have amazing tea.

My husband and I drove through town on our way back to Nashville and were SO thrilled to find Spencer’s!
We love finding new craft coffee shops on our road trips and this is a new regular spot for us when driving north!!
I had the blackberry rosemary latte and it was stellar! So delicious!
I also had the big salad which was amazing- their balsamic dressing is fantastic.
Lots of room to sit and talk/read/work & the staff is SO friendly.
Highly highly recommend this beautiful place!
