Oh my goodness. I went to lunch with mom and I had blueberry pancakes and the coffee was so awesome. The waitress was so pleasant and kept my coffee cup filled up all the way all the time. This is the first time I have been at this Spencers. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a chalet in the mountains drinking coffee and eating breakfast mid morning ski run. Thank you all for excellent service and a fun place to eat.

I’m not going to lie, I used to love coming here until me, my mom, and a friend came here and ordered 3 well done steaks. They came out medium rare and we told the waitress then she took them and they came back burnt to the point we weren’t able to eat them. I know they did it on purpose and since the bill was expensive and my mom still tipped I was so upset (we didnt tell them anything after receiving burnt steaks). I won’t ever be back since it was petty on their part. Now I’m going to try to find a new breakfast spot but I know since Bakersfield is expanding restaurants I’ll be able to find a good breakfast restaurant. But I do recommend their pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream.

The food was great! Everything tasted delicious. The portions are really big as well. We ordered the chicken fried steak with country potatoes, it also came with a biscuit and gravy. We also ordered the swedish pancake breakfast w/strawberries. It came with two eggs, two sausages, two bacon, and country potatoes. You can’t beat their prices. Our waitress was on it, checking up on us constantly to make sure everything was okay. Will definitely be back.

This is a very nice place to eat breakfast or lunch at. They do get busy at times due to great food, friendly staff and a clean restaurant.
I ordered their breakfast enchiladas, they are chili verde, eggs, cheese rolled into corn tortillas. They are very good. Way more than I could eat, big enough to share.

Amazing place with a really good experience staff attention. Delicious food and I really enjoyed they famous strawberry sliced syrup, yummy. I am very happy to have found this place to enjoy my meal in peace in this crazy situation of the covid-19 that is making everyone scared, but not here in Bakersfield, Ca, where everyone is welcoming and positive and will not accept this situation.
