Spelunker’s was so delicious that we might run it back. They kept a steady crowd inside and in drive thru. The customer service was great and the fries and cheesesteak (pictured) even better. Actually, the fries were PERFECTION…. crunchy outside and soft inside. You can taste the freshness of the shaved beef. Definitely worth a visit or 2 if you’re in the area.

Was really busy when we came, but food came out in a reasonable time and service was very friendly.
The inside is decorated nicely for fall, and they keep the place pretty clean.
Food is very fresh and homemade, you can taste the strawberries in the ice cream shakes (not old/too frozen), and veggies are crisp. Burger patty is thick!! Was considering getting a double but that single was more than enough. Portions are generous.
4 stars though because the flavors were just eh. Burger tasted like nothing too special, and same goes for the onion rings. Fries and shake were pretty decent, though.

Fining room was festively decorated for Christmas. Very clean. Service friendly and fast. Burger qas incredible- VERY juicy. Perfectly cooked. Will visit again and try the custard, didn’t have room! They were making waffle cones at the counter that smelled divine!

It’s far from home, but I think I’ll visit every time I go to Shenandoah.

This was one of the best burgers I’ve had in recent memory. We ate some food here after hiking in the mountains and it really hit the spot. We ate here on a Wednesday evening and it was insanely busy for how small of a town it is in. After I experienced the great service and then the great food, I now know why it was so busy on a Wednesday evening. The burger was juicy, the fries were fresh, and the frozen custard was totally on point. This place knocks it out of the park. If I’m ever driving through the area again, I will be returning.

Definitely worth stopping by. Gets really packed at times but they have an additional parking lot on the back end.

Good food and good service. The steak sub was really good. The onion rings were the best I’ve ever had! The custard was a diabetic’s nightmare but was very tasty! Nathan one of the managers was very nice and accommodating! Tray one of the employees was really chill and very pleasure to talk to. We will visit again for the burgers and stop and see the Beer museum.

I was coming off a nice weekend, filled with lots of things to do. And all of a sudden, we decided to stop in Front Royal to try this place that had been recommended to me a long time ago.
**Highlights:**
**service and speed 10/10
** steak and cheese 10/10 (I ordered it with jalapenos)
**fresh fries 10/10 (I highly recommend them)
**cheeseburger 10/10
**Atmosphere & Service:**
I went on a Sunday and of course they were too crowded. You can sit in the lounge area inside or there’s a nice terrace outside, but everything was packed.
**Final Thoughts:**
If you’re passing through the area, it’s definitely worth a stop, a chance, and a try.
