Quaint little SEASONAL roadside stop. Daily ice cream flavors. Hand scooped, soft serve, and yougurt/sorbets available. Also burgers and dogs. We’ve sampled a little something from each category over several visits. Prices are very fair in these times considering that serving/portion sizes are on point. Have not been disappointed by anything but the line for service, which should say a little something about its popularity among the locals. Parking can be tricky, but more often than not this is attributed to the lack of vehicular skills among the clientele than that of the actual space available. If you find yourself in the area with a hankering for good Ole fashioned small business service, then by all means give these folks a try. It is not likely that you’ll be disappointed. Way better than chain brand

Let’s talk tasty treats! This local staple continues to impress, reinforcing its strong reputation in our community. Their ice cream is so satisfying! Did I mention that you get a new flavor each day? Watch your sizes folks, their cones become soft serve sky scrapers real quick! Here’s a pro tip: stay up to date on their social media platforms and you’ll catch the two day exclusive in the summer when they offer the cantaloupe flavor of the day made from cantaloupes grown on the famous Myers Pickle Farm in Leechburg, PA. Like a good homemade hard ice cream? Try Al’s homemade butter pecan ice cream, or any of the other select offerings. Service is rather quick and friendly. The atmosphere is accommodating and present. There’s a spacious parking lot, probably even see a few classic cars, motorcycles, and friendly faces. Bring yourself, family, kids, and pets included. When you’re screaming for ice cream, remember to make some time to stop at Speedy’s.

Awesome soft serve icecream. They offer the flavor of the day which changes each day. Also offer a variety of other foods also. Great friendly staff. Establishment is very clean, with plenty of parking. Dine in or take out. If you are in the neighborhood I would suggest stopping in.

Yummy.
Ok more words…
I was on mission to find the nearest Dairy Queen, when I saw this place. Several cars in the parking lot…
I pulled in, I was third or fourth in line to order, and the line moved quickly.
I got a large chocolate milkshake.
I wish I had realized sooner this place was here.

Great small town ice cream and burger joint! Perfect for a quick treat or take out. We really enjoyed our “upside down banana split” and will probably be back again next time we’re in the Crooked Creek Park area. Sign outside says cash only, just a heads up!

Awesome banana milkshake very good glass of iced tea as well. Was cash only which was a little bummed out but it’s okay there’s a Dollar general right across the street You can get cash back it all worked out. Only regret is all the times I drove past on my way to Ford City or Kittanning and didn’t stop in sooner. Is definitely going to be a regular now

I was completely blown away by their pistachio ice cream with a chocolate dipped cone. I tried it just before my gallbladder surgery. I look forward to the next time. They also have the best pumpkin roll around with cheesecake ice cream in the center. The only problem is it’s a seasonal item so you have to wait until around September to get it.

I grew up visiting Speedy’s. Now as an old man, any time my wife and I visit Ford City we try to hit Speedy’s for an ice cream cone. They also make an amazing “Upside Down Banana Split”.

Lovely little spot for ice cream/ soft serve. they have outdoor patio seating with a view of local farm land. (the dining room was closed.) I had a wonderfully made orange creamsicle twist in a waffle cone. they also make “pup cups” for your pet. keep in mind its cash only when you go.
