The food used to be much better and felt like it was made with a middle love, but lately it’s gone down hill. The waitress we had was okay. She seemed flustered for a large party. It was a busy ish night but not as busy as it could have been.
The tomato soup was good. The brisket was not. It’s over cooked and has no flavor. They try and cover it with bbq sauce but it didn’t help.

Hands down the worse food I’ve had in grand forks. I had the walleye and it was the blandest walleye I have ever had in my entire 7 years of staying in grand forks. Tried the wife’s ribs and brisket. No flavor not even a taste of salt just the bbq sauce they drench it in. Server must of been the end of her shift because she did not seem like she cared about the experience, didn’t even ask if we enjoyed the meal at all. Would not come back again. Only good thing was dollar can beers and even that didn’t make the food taste good.

Waited on within 10 seconds. Absolutely the best Prime Rib I’ve ever eaten and I’m from Montana. The quality of service and food, and the staff interaction/conversation is very real and uplifting. The tiger sauce is delicious!! Perfect twist on horseradish. Best Midwestern environment with a spectacular menu and exceptional service.

Hidden gem. Talk about value for every dollar!!– my dad and I ordered off the lunch menu, so he got a rack of ribs and a side for $11.99 I believe it was, and I got a ribeye and fries (also for $11.99). My step mom’s chef salad was the most expensive thing that was ordered at $13-something. I’m glad we got to go there to celebrate my dad’s birthday, it’s his favorite place to go and he got exactly what he wanted as well as I got to eat somewhere new and was pleasantly surprised for once. I’d definitely eat here again!

This place is officially my go-to whenever I’m in Grand Forks. The service, atmosphere, and food were all exceptional. Management truly cares—they stopped by our table (and many others) to make sure we were completely satisfied.
I tried the Burger from Hell and will definitely be ordering it again. Huge shout-out to Speedway 805 for a great experience. If you ever franchise, please consider Texas!

Food is always phenomenal when you eat here. I highly recommend the Cheeser Cheesers to start. I try something new every time & haven’t been disappointed yet.
Just be sure to prepare for a wait if you want regular seating as they do get BUSY!!
Service is usually top notch, I think there was one time where it could have been better but not worth taking a star away from.
Popper burger, Speedway burger are my top two so far!

We had a large group of 9 people go to speed way at 9:45pm after a social event. It took about 10 min to get seated. The place was busy. I had the reuben with fries both came out hot. The reuben was delicious. The meat was truly juicy and flavorful. The fries were hot and crispy. I also ordered some queso with taco meat as an appetizer. That was also very hot, not lava over heated hot but smooth cheese hot and the taco meat was spicy. The others in our party had steaks and fish and said that the meals were all good. There was only one person that had enough food left over for a take home container. I think that speaks louder than than this reviewers opinion. The waitress and the others that helped deliver the food were all courteous and polite. They all knew the menu and what was on the plates. It is annoying when the servers come to to table and don’t know what they have on the plate. The atmosphere 4 stars rating is just because we were seated in the corner at the back of the restaurant. It was a good time had by all, Thanks Speedway.

The burgers were decent (the spicy one is just not spicy at all, but whatever), sous vide prime rib steak was nice, French dip wasn’t that tasty.
The level of service was quite high. They were even able to accommodate our two rush order requests (so we can see the dirt racing).
Cocktails here are super cheap (like 4.7$ for a gin cocktail), but the amount of alcohol is minimal, unfortunately.

Seems like a small town cafe with big flavor and space. The prices were very good and the food was delicious. The happy hour specials also look pretty good.
