I ordered the meat trio loaded potato with a fountain drink. The potato was huge and cooked perfectly the meats however were very bland in flavor and you could tell was from a frozen pre packaged bag. The service was great and the place was very clean and orderly.

Potatoes are giant for sure. Staff nice place is clean. Little paturbed that 1 Potato came out 10 minutes before the 2nd one so I sat and watched my gf eat while I waited, not sure why this happened seems restaurant 101 common sense to bring all tables food out at once. The cheese sauce we got was so bad. it didn’t even taste like cheese, very off putting. thank God it came on the side. Was disappointed with amount of chili on it and way too many jalapeño peppers, I wouldn’t get a single bite without 3 peppers on it. Alfredo one was better nothing spectacular but good.. I see them using microwave to heat most things that go on the potatoes, not very quality indicative of a restaurant either. 50 bucks for 3 people. Money could have most definitely been better spent

Second location is a Gem and finally allows Ascension parish residents to get a fully baked potato. Plenty of options and combos can be endless. Proteins include chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, and crawfish. Cheeses include cheddar, American, pepper jack, and Mozzarella. New location is clean and very warm.

My wife and I visited the prairieville location for the first time today for lunch. The place was clean and well maintained. The young lady taking our orders was very pleasant and answered our questions while giving us her favorite recommendations. They specialize in potatoes but have other items on the menu to suit other tastes as well. The food came out quickly and was on point. Overall we throughly enjoyed the experience and will come back again.

We love coming here, food is consistent and good, but the price has gotten out of control. $17 for a potato that costed $12 earlier this year is crazy. For a couple dollars more i can get a steak dinner take home meal and not a microwaved baked potato. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be ordering as much, no fault to employees at all, but of the owners.

I stopped in twice recently (in the last 2 weeks). The place was not crowded because I was after there mid afternoon both occasions. Fast service so I didn’t bother sitting down. I ordered take-out both times. Each time was great—the potatoes were exactly as ordered, with an abundance of the protein(s) of your choice.

I take the kids here because they love the cheesy potato soup. The Ole Jose is a hearty meal in itself. The staff is always very kind and patient with my rambunctious kids. Love going here. Glad they are around!
